Not sure what this stores problem is? Can they not read? Is it a counting issue? Speaker or intercom problem? Every time my wife or myself go there they get the order wrong. Not every now and then not most of the time every time. Now when you call to complain they are nice and offer to take care of it but I am not driving back from Hitchcock for them to correct my order. This time no okra I was charged for it but no okra last time they added mac and cheese on my order and charged me for it. I don’t eat mac and cheese gave it to the dog the time before that no rolls.

So I don’t know what happened with chicken express in general but the recipe for their chicken has changed for some reason. This use to be my favorite restaurant to buy chicken from but now a days I would rather go some where else. On top of the fact their chicken doesn’t taste good anymore but their staff at the Santa Fe location were rude. I did nothing but talk to each one of the employees that helped me in the drive through in a professional manner. Was ignored after saying thank you and was also given a go to hell look by the young brunette girl that handed me my food. I get we all have bad days but for a long time customer to get treated the way I did is not fair.

Its so good. I used to be a Popeye’s chicken kinda girl, but I think Chicken Express may be my new go-to! Its very tasty and they offer sides you can’t get at the other chicken joints.

The chicken and the rolls are delicious. The sides aren’t that good, but the chicken makes up for that. Their staff is always friendly here. I don’t eat here as often as I would like to, because they’re expensive. Frankly, they’re borderline overpriced. I can take my family to Outback Steakhouse for dinner and the total is only about $10 more than our total for a family sized order of chicken tenders and two sides at Chicken Express.
