New Mexican restaurant in town!!!! This place was amazing. From the food to the staff everything was great!!! Located in the abingdon shopping center beside Kroger, they offer many authentic Mexican dishes and desserts. After eating here I have to place it in my top 2 Mexican restaurants in the area. Very impressed and will definitely be back soon!

Mountains Are Best
Guacamole is just fantastic! We got tacos birria, shrimp fajitas, both dishes were excellent. Service was good, language was a work around but did well. Nice place to dine!

First of all, I will say the service was terrible. When we walked in the staff was on their phones and wouldn’t look up. When we got waited on, the waitress could not speak English and my order came out wrong due to miscommunication. We were the only ones dining there at 7:00 in the evening and no one came around to see if we needed a drink refill etc…. Lastly, the food was horrible. The steak on the taco was so salty that I could not eat it. The enchilada was tough and cold. The Mexican corn was disgusting. We will never go back. I hope they read these reviews and take them seriously.

The chili relleno was under cooked, the whole meal was not hot. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Then to top it off, they charge you 4% of the ticket price to use your credit card. Never again!

This place is AWFUL. First impressions walking in the place smells like they just spilled 5 gallons of bleach and didn’t bother to clean it up. We were sat down at a table and someone came by and slammed chips on our table, spraying them everywhere and walking away. We waited 20+ minutes to order drinks just trying to give them a chance after that and two employees came up to us, YELLED at us that they didn’t have anything other than water when we tried to order a beer and a coke even though its prominent on their menus. Never returning, if I could Id rate -5 stars to balance out the ratings obviously done by the employees themselves.

….strange experience overall. Long review to capture the nuance lol. When we were sat, we (and many others) had to adjust/re-arrange the tables/seats to comfortably sit on either side. Weird, but not a problem. We noticed immediately that all diners were stacked along the two main rows of booths, back-to-back. No space, low music, and no barriers of any sort made for little conversation between us but lots of accidental eavesdropping on others’. Not a huge deal right, you can make that work. We both ordered waters to start – the server brought us each a cup of ice and a bottle of water from the local grocery store to pour ourselves…hmm, okay not the usual practice but still absolutely manageable. We then tried to order house margaritas, as there was an entire section of the menu devoted to alcohol, but were advised that they did not actually have the abilities to serve alcohol. (Yet at least?) That was not mentioned anywhere on the menu or in-restaurant but again, not a huge thing. We moved on and ordered two entrees and some cheese dip. Cheese dip came first and OH BOY let me tell you…..as a self-proclaimed cheese dip connoisseur, this was the most depressing cheese I have ever had. Do you know when a cheap drink is watered down? Especially with tap water? It was exactly that flavor/consistency, but….cheese? 2/10, no good at all and really weird. The entrees were alright at best, but no real complaints. The managers were sorting out some sort of doordash issue on the phone and with individuals in the restaurant for about half an hour+, which was also interesting to get to hear the entirety of lol. If you’re wanting good quality Mexican food in a nice environment, just make the tiny trip to Bristol and hit up El Patio, Taco Riendo, or Casa Mexicana. Los Dorados is overpriced and underperforming in every category of comparison.

Food is good. A little overpriced. If you order take out dinners they charge the customer for the to go containers and a credit card fee. Very cheap of them. Not good customer service.
