One of my favourite restaurants in NYC. It exceeded our expectations! Our cocktails were delicious, the staff were very attentive, and the food was delicious. Came here twice the same week. The glazed Alaskan black cod and Lobster fried rice is a must try.

The atmosphere is intimate and dark. The staff was super friendly and accommodating despite all the decorations that we have brought in for our celebration. The food was a good portion to share with everyone at the table and it was delicious, finger licking good. The prices are absolutely reasonable and if your ever in NY should ABSOLUTELY stop by. Such a unique experience.

One word…Amazing! This place is absolutely a must go to. Fantastic ambiance if you like dining in low light settings which makes for a great date night scene or a night out in the town for the grown and sexy. Family style eating asian-fusion restaurant with a la carte and prefix menus. I highly recommend for any occasion. Nice drink menus consisting of reds, whites, sake, spirits and cocktails.

If you’re looking for an amazing spot to take your date, I highly recommend Buddakan. The atmosphere, vibe, and music were all incredible and the service was impeccable. It’s definitely a luxurious and special place to go to, and I would recommend it for an intimate dinner or even a larger group party. Just be careful on the stairs if you’re going to indulge in a few drinks!

I’m not sure I can convey how amazing our experience was but I’ll try. From my FROZEN drink at the bar (thanks for hooking me up “kitchen”) our bartender knew exactly what I needed. To the server who seemed to know all the tips and tricks to making our 4 person tasting menu the highlight of our NYC trip. Thank you. The gorgeous model (manager) knows what she is doing. I’ll remember this meal the rest of my life. (Perhaps you can email me the salad dressing recipe?) Cheers!

This was a great overall experience. The restaurant has a “night club” type vibe with music and lighting. They first take you into a lounge while they prepare your table. When you’re seated the vibe and atmosphere are equally as amazing as the food. The oysters in the picture were so delicious I practically had a foodgasm with each one. The apps, drinks, entrees and deserts were all amazing. I wish I lived closer to make this a regular stop and enjoy it more often. I highly recommend a reservation as it was pretty crowded. I can’t wait to come back!

Went for dinner with kids. Reserving is a good idea. Gets pretty busy here. Located right next to Chelsea Market. The interiors are so majestic. The ambiance is nice but very loungy and on the darker side. Restrooms specially are really dark.
