Casey General Store on the east side of Des Moines is an good establishment. By far, this gas station and convenience store was one of the better on our trip. The store was well-kept and provided some good selections. The bathrooms need checked more because the men’s restroom had a dirty toilet. Probably wont’t stop here again, but the establishment is okay:

Loooove there pizza but….Tonight I had enough Casey’s cash in my rewards to purchase a large supreme Pizza I was short 1.18 and added it to my debit card when placing the online order. When I got home later reading my bank account, they charged my card the full amount of the pizza

I give this place a “3”, only because the petite black female employee was a “jack” of all trades. In my short time in the store, she took care of the long line of customers and when the last customer was helped, grabbed a broom and started sweeping. I wish I knew her name, but if my descriptions help solve who it is, just be aware, she’s a keeper. Also, periodically check your automatic flushes on your urinals. One of the urinals would only flush manually.

This Casey’s store, as well as any other in the metro area, is awful. We ordered a simple cheese pizza, and my daughter was told they didn’t have the order. My daughter called me and I was told oh, sorry, that pizza is in the oven. The pizza was overdone, hard as a rock and had little sauce. My other daughter returned to complain about the pizza and was given a major attitude about the overbaked pizza by Paige. Paige said to the other employee should we just give her another customer’s pizza so she’ll shut and leave? We were given another pizza, that had sausage on it, when we wanted a simple cheese pizza. The customer service at this Casey’s store has been deplorable for years, and it is only getting worse. I will not do any business with Casey’s again. This chain is a joke these days.

South driveway has been horrible to drive over for a long time. Cashier service is sub-par. Car wash is very expensive and did not at all meet quality for the price. Bathrooms have been a mess every time I’ve stopped over the last few months. Gas was 10 cents cheaper literally right across the road.

As soon as I walked into this the guy at the front desk just sitting down on his phone. Casey’s is supposed to be all about the freshness of their Pizza everything they had was burnt including the pizza putting the chicken the burgers looked old. I will never go back to this Casey’s again worthless

The lady at the register was extremely rude, when you mop you usually have the common sense to put up wet floor signs and you don’t get upset at customers and talk badly about them for walking on that mopped floor. She wasn’t wearing a Caseys shirt so we didn’t get her name unfortunately.
