Been here with family in the past (we are from MD, but family lives here in NJ). Wait staff is very friendly. But food, never been to a Spaniard restaurant were you main sides are rice (bland and chewy) and over cooked fries. My Seared scallops with spinach and Serrano ham was soaked in oil and very salty. The Serrano ham was fried and crispy. Food quality has changed but the price is only going up and not worth it.

Had a fantastic experience. 1st time there lots of history in the place you can def feel the vibe. And on b-days a guy come thru and respect he sings and very well. Plus food was great too. But the experience as a whole excellent. But for flaws I’d say maybe waited for water but that’s it. I should have just asked anyways.

Under new management with a new menu. I ordered the paella and gambas ajillo for takeout and would order again. Server was kind and answered all my questions on the phone. Extra points for using real saffron in their dish. Dip the bread in the shrimp/garlic aioli!!

Food is always well prepared. Must try their lobster and N.Y. steak.

If you’re a true lobster lover, you’ve got to put this on your bucket list. It’s the best. Others in my party who had the steak also thought the food was great. The service is excellent, staff is friendly, and Jason, our host and maitre’d was top notch in taking care of my family and just letting us enjoy and celebrate my son’s graduation. Jason’s training at the Culinary Institute of America definitely shined through with his attentiveness and professionalism. Go for the food but also enjoy warm family atmosphere.

Used to be my favorite Spanish restaurant in North Jersey. Always had memorable times here. Paella Valenciana was delicious along with the pork chops and Chilean sea bass. Have heard they got new management and place “isn’t as good” now. But I will have to check this out in person next time I’m in NJ area

Well my last visit to this restaurant was about 10 years ago when you had long waits to enter and the place was always packed. It’s changed owners from what I gather and the staff is now Asian but the same quality of food was kept. The menu has alot of seafood and steak items all with the spanish flavor. I went with a party of 4 and everyone loved their dishes. Only criticism is the decor is still very old and needs updating, the service was good too..

I went with my boyfriend to this place, I use to come here a long time ago . Before the food was amazing and now it’s just awful, when the waiter asked how it was I should of told them to stop while your ahead. But I felt bad and said it was pretty good . But sangria was off, my boyfriend was sick from it. It was like cheap liquor mixed and the food is far from the past. Steak wasn’t that good at all. I paid 154 for horrible food. I went to cheaper places for better food. No bueno and never going back. . Segovia has excellent food !
