This was the best Patty Melt, I had ever had. The bread was so crunchy, when you bite into it. The burgers were just cooked perfectly. Just enough onion & sauce! It was to die for. Yummy!!!

Worst hamburger ever. Ultra thin and over cooked to the point of no flavor – if not for the mustard I put on it, it would have been even worse. Also,the lettuce was completely limp and wilted with brown edges. I would have taken it back to the counter, but was traveling and did not have time to wait for another one….the first one took way too long to begin with. First and last time at East Bay Deli!!!

First of all, it was my choice in going to this business. I was greeted job entering. Placed the order and offered cash, but they didn’t have change, so I had to use my credit card and get charged more money for using the card and because they didn’t have change. Got the order and left. Should have checked it before I was down the road. No chips for either sandwich. Had to drive back and get the chips. I entered the store and they knew. Told them they should pay me for having to come back for all of my order. Grrr. Let and finally got to the house to eat. Best I can say is the bread for my sandwich must have been 5 day old bread. It was terribly chewy, under-toasted and just bad. I’ll be making better choices in the future. I’m sure all of this was somehow my fault according to some, but the concern, attention to detail and customer service at this location needs some serious help.

Bread was hardly toasted and dry with zero butter which is tradition to a grilled cheese. The cheese was cold in the middle on a grilled cheese on rye. How is this possible ? My five year old can make a better grilled cheese with a hair dryer. This is not the only poor experience I’ve had at this location over the past year. For the money, there is no excuse for this food quality. It’s not right. Something needs to change.

Always a great experience at Eaat Bay Deli. Baked potatoes for me; tomatoe bisque soup, salad bar and chocolate cake for my partner were all very tasty. I have never had a bad meal at any East Bay Deli. Ther is a lot of variety and a lot of healthy foods too. Try it.

They were kind, fast, accurate, and willing to customize my hot dog (half kraut, half chili) that wasn’t an option on the board, but they made it and it was delicious! My husband said his burger and fries were one of the best he’s had…he ordered plain with only mayo and lettuce and oddly many places can’t get that right. But East Bay did. We’re happy they aren’t far from us.

The food was good, but it just doesn’t seem like a good deal for the money. I had a philly that cost almost $10 along with some chips and a pickle. I couldn’t believe how small that sandwich was. I could go to Firehouse and get a sub and share it with someone for that price
