Don’t be deceived by the exterior because it’s warm and inviting inside. They were short staffed the day I dined, but the service was great. The food was good; the Wheatcakes are worth trying. The dining room is small and comfortable with communal tables in the center and private booths along the sides.

Rude servers. I’m in my 30s and apparently unless you’re of retirement age they neglect your table and avoid any type of interaction. They were nice to the older crowd there. I would’ve come back if I didn’t get treated like I wasn’t worth their time. Something was wrong with my order and they never came back to the table to check, just handed me my check after I got my food. I’m always nice and tip heavy, but I just couldn’t find a reason to leave a tip or make nice conversation while closing my check.

Staff get the 2 stars because they were all very nice. EXTREMELY $$$. Chef salad $16.99 – you can get steak and eggs for the same price! Potato salad and coleslaw were terrible . I won’t be back.

Visited on Memorial Day, and our timing couldn’t have been better. We had a party of 6 and walked in to a table of 6 just waiting for us. Service was fantastic, and the food was exceptional!

First time here and the last. Wasn’t very busy at 11:30 for brunch. Ordered vegetarian omelette with Swiss cheese. FIRST one came with nothing but Swiss cheese. Told waitress so she took it back. Brought me another….this one had the veggies. Meanwhile, husband is halfway through his breakfast. Took a couple of bites and realized this one wasn’t swiss like I ordered, but cheddar. Waitress didn’t come by again. Wasn’t going to wait for a THIRD one and hubby was done eating. Busser asked if I wanted a box since most of my food was still on the plate. Told him no, since it wasn’t what I ordered. He just chuckled and left the check. Sure enough, check said vegetarian omelette with Swiss cheese. Caught waitress and told her…..she said “hmm..let me check.” Came back and said ” just charge you for the cheese omelette.” What the heck?! Needless to say….bad business/customer service and will not be back!
