It is sad that because you are trapped in an airport you have to settle for subpar service and goods. Biscuit was just edible and cold. Got to enjoy mouthful of coffee grounds when finishing my coffee. Will definitely pass this one up next time

Didn’t have to wait long like usually at RDU airport for some Popeyes chicken! I got the 5 piece chicken dinner with mashed potatoes but they gave me coleslaw instead. People working here were friendly. They gave me 8 tenders! Free refills for drinks. Food was fresh and crispy. I prefer the sandwich over the tenders.

Not only does this location embody what I would expect from any regular Popeyes that is not located in an airport, but they go above and beyond to serve customer ensuring that waits are not too long as to cause delays in passengers making it to flights. One thing that sets this location apart as well is there breakfast offerings or early morning flights, I was pleasantly surprised to see them open for breakfast and enjoyed my meal that was very reasonably priced as well, the workers at this location also make sure that the rest of the sitting area is kept clean and stocked!

This was my very first time eating from Popeyes. I was able to walk right up and place my order. An employee who was extremely friendly and helpful to those of us in the dining area. I ordered the chicken tenders combo. The biscuit was delicious and definitely not dry. The tenders were actually tender and well seasoned. Mashed potatoes and heavy had a flavor that I’m not familiar with, but I really liked it. The only issue was the drink machine. I pushed the lever for ginger ale, but a dark color drink came out.

Low quality biscuits, but there’s nowhere else to grab breakfast. The coffee was terrible, full of coffee grounds. The beverage area, where the sugar is, was filthy and poorly stocked at 8 am.

One of the most ghetto experiences I’ve had in an airport of all places. Manager and staff were swearing left and right which is totally fine when you aren’t on the clock, and aren’t around a bunch of customers of varying ages. I can’t tell if all the staff is just very young and immature or what… manager was also wearing food handling gloves and covered her mouth with the glove while talking with other staff. Person taking orders was quiet, and couldn’t be bothered to even crack a small smile, person handing out orders was SCREAMING and argumentative with customers. Disgusting all around, just avoid it. These are literal children running a Popeyes with no regard for food safety, or customer service.

Says hours are until 11pm. I landed 924 they were closed. However I’ve eaten here before while traveling for is hot but know your order before going to the register bc they move fast and you will be holding everyone up and employees may get frustrated. The line is usually long so you haveenough time to make a plan A and plan B before then. Other than that not a bad lunch or dinner plan when traveling at RDU

Really good chicken. I got mild tenders and a side of fries. I didn’t think it was too salty or anything. But i had the chicken plain. Everyone was really friendly and the service was quick. Sure its expensive but you’re at an airport, so you have to expect that. You could do worse.
