Went 2 weeks ago solo and it was amazing! Great food and service. It was so amazing my husband and I went back together on Wednesday 3/22. It was the exact opposite of my 1st experience. Service was ok but the food was not good and they were out of EVERYTHING! I asked for the bacon brussels(that I ordered last week) zero bacon, sauce or glaze. I originally asked for alfredo. Was told may not have cream sauce(!?!?!?) Checked and they did. Then 10 minutes later he comes and says they are out of alfredo noodles! I ended up having to order the salmon which was 12 dollars more lol and the cedar plank salmon came WITHOUT a plank and in a bowl of butter. Definitely not how it was served on my 1st visit. The lemon drop was off(both trips) I was hoping it was a one off but 2nd time it was still not good. Hubbys filet oscar was just okay. Asked for garlic mash, got a giant baked potato. He ended up bringing the mashed potatoes. It was tacky and bland lol

Bartender was very attentive. I had a glass of wine, the little Italy combination small portion appetizer that filled me up! It’s basically a meal if only person is eating it. I didn’t care for the fried ravioli & cheese it was crispy but flavorless as was the calamari. The bruschetta was appetizing. The sausage bread was decent in flavor but a little dry. I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken added togo. I didn’t expect the dressing to be on it so by the time I got home it wasn’t as fresh. But the chicken was very flavorful and good! Overall I’d give this place another try for a full entree the menu has a few nice pasta options I’d like to try. That appetizer just filled me up this round. Also they have lobster bisques on the menu but they no longer have it so don’t even try to order it.

Johnny’s is in a hotel, so the table setup is a little odd. We were there at an off time, so some food options weren’t available and service was a little off, but nothing bad. The food was great, the sausage bread appetizer could be a meal, kind of like Stromboli. The pasta dinners were tasty and plenty of food. We will go back.

We have tried to eat here twice. I have loved Johnnys Italian in other cities. The first time, the hostess greeted us and never returned. We went to the bar where we weren’t acknowledged at all for another 15 minutes. This time, no hostess. We walked in and had to ask the two women in the bar if the restaurant was open. Then as we sat we heard them say that they should have told us no. One of them dropped off the menus without a word to us and walked away. Needless to say, we left and will never try to eat there again.

I’ve enjoyed one of the best meals in my life, the veal Sinatra was perfection, the dessert was simply a masterpiece and the attention was simply amazing!! I recommend 100% worth every last penny. Portions are more then enough for a lumberjack appetite.

We entered the restaurant which is situated inside the Hilton Garden inn at 5:20 pm and there were only 2 customers and a few employees sitting near the bar. My hopes for a good experience waned at the site. No sign to seat ourselves nor a maitre de to seat us, I did not have high hopes. With just a few seconds the staff jumped up, seated us and our server got our drink order. The raspberry lemoncello martini was magnificent. We had the calamari as an appetizer and it was ok, but it was served with both cocktail sauce and a dressing which we thought was ranch. It turned out to be their Caesar salad dressing and it was fantastic on the calamari. Our main entrees were cooked to order and delicious. The portion sizes were large in keeping with price. Our server could have been just a little more attentive. By the time we left, the bar was full and tables were beginning to fill up. I enjoyed the experience and recommend a visit if you are looking for a good, slightly upscale dining experience.

They were behind time on several reservations which was a bummer, but they food and the price compared to most steakhouses made up for it big time!
