Such a cute breakfast and lunch place. The food, prices and staff are excellent and the restaurant is so incredibly clean. I don’t know why we didn’t come here sooner. They have a drive through and a snack bar too!

My daughter found this place. I think it will be my favorite new spot. We spent $24.14 and it was worth it! Our order was 1 chicken fajita huarache, 1 potato ranchero taco, 1 mijas taco and 1 chorizo and bean taco a Mexican coke and a sweet tea. My family said the tacos were good. I was too busy enjoying my chicken fajita huarache to try anything else. Let me say the flavors are layered and piled high. (None of this, cutting back on your toppings but raising the price on you happening here) I didn’t even get half way through and I am stuffed like it was thanksgiving day! I am looking forward to going back and trying a different menu item like a torta or something of their large variety sweet snack menu like a mangonada. My sweet tea? Well you can come here for the tea alone! I could tell at first sip that they must have a reverse osmosis system! I took off the lid and saw the beautiful clear ice swimming in my tea and I feel in love. The ice is perfect crunch size too! She also asked if we would like them open the Mexican soda before handing it to us. I appreciate that because most places just open it with out asking. The service is friendly and fast. I could tell that our food was cooked to order but, it didn’t take too long. Just pull up to the speaker and turn off your engine so you don’t have a hard time ordering. This place just got a new loyal customer!

This is where I get my breakfast tacos and no matter kind I get never disappointed. I’ve had there chicken puffy tacos plate with rice and beans. Super delicious. The chips were a little off but the salsa was very good.

I got tacos, and they were delicious! They use a different cheese but the results are the same, delicious! They spoke some English but it seemed like mostly Spanish. Awesome service, really nice, they wanted to get my order right so they verified at the window, and got it correct. I definitely recommend eating here. It’s usually not that busy, as much as the other restaurants in the area.

Ordered carne guisada tacos and I was shocked at how nasty they were. The reviews speak highly of the food here so I was expecting what I ordered to be good. The good thing about the food is that it’s cheap. I won’t be coming back unfortunately.

The only place I know in Converse that you can find both Changos and Rusas and they are consistent in how they are made in contrast to the ice cream stand down the street. Their breakfast tacos are also pretty good.

Bad customer service and horrible business practices. Pulled up to the drive-thru, the woman said, “I’ll be right with you.” 10 minutes later still didn’t hear from her. I called their number and when she answered I could hear her through the drive-thru speaker as well. Apparently she forgot I was there. Pulled up to the window, where a sign basically states that prices are higher than what’s shown on the menu. A sign like that NEEDS to be put by the actual menu itself where people can take the prices into consideration before ordering NOT at the drive up window, where the order has already been placed and it’s too late. The carne asada was smaller than the size of my hand, smallest I’ve ever seen served by a Mexican restaurant. And the other portions are too small for the price. It tasted decent, however, there are plenty of OTHER Mexican restaurants in the area that serve larger portions for the same, if not LOWER price. Horrible first impression.
