It’s Jimboy’s. Pricier than Taco Bell but better than Taco Bell. This one has been around awhile and the food is consistently good. The servers are bilingual and very pleasant. I also get a burrito for the fur children. The parking isn’t great but there is a gas station next door for a fill-up if needed.

I had never been to this location before, so it was a surprise that it really fell short compared to others in the region. The salsa bar that is present at most other Jimboy’s is absent here. I ordered two burritos and a soda. The ground beef was dry, and both burritos were uncharacteristically bland. The store was nearly empty, most of the tables still had chairs on them, and the ones that didn’t, had crumbs and remnants from the prior customers.

This location is not terrible but its not great neither. They could do better regarding the tacos. I gave this location a try for a second time and I’m good and not in a good way. The location in South Natomas is definitely better. For those that know, know exactly what Im talking about.

They’ve really upped their game. Food’s less greasy, better taste, but I miss the fresh salsa to this day. I get the can’t have a salsa bar because of covid, but there’s none behind the counter either. That’s the only thing holding me back from 5 stars.

I’m beginning to discover that Jimboy’s Tacos establishments are hit and miss. This one is a miss. Almost every table was dirty. The service was far from fast with only one other customer in at the time. They did not have the salsa bar like most do. The food was what to be expected which is why I did not rate this 1 star.
