Cash Only! We enjoyed Dave’s Diner. It gives a small town diner vibe which is nice to have around this area. We sat at the bar and were immediately greeted and treated with kindness. The staff was very friendly. At Dave’s, they cook the food on the griddle right in front of customers. I ordered the slinger with Chili which was good. The serving size for the slinger is pretty big. I had to take leftover. My fiancée ordered the omelette, a small order of biscuit and gravy plus coffee. He said his food was also good. I’d definitely come back for breakfast.

It’s was so great to be back in an old, diner, where they still had big glass sugar dispensers on the table along with a silver creamer,ketchup, salt and pepper, they had the old silver spinning seats at the bar and small tables that reminded me of mom’s kitchen as a child. They ladies that work there were so friendly, listened to my breakfast order and put it together better than I had communicated..lol…my husband’s sunny side up eggs were just right and everything was yummy. Did I mention they also had individual jellys on the table also which my hubby loved with his toast. The customers were friendly and we all chatted. Very laid back and special. We’re here visiting from FL and always look for these mom & pop places and you sure have a special one here!

As soon as I came in I was greeted, the server suggested the deep fried biscuits and gravy. This was new to me so I had to try it. I was pleasantly surprised and wondered where this has been my whole life. Everyone here was pleasant and talked to me like I was their friend. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu and of course the deep fried B&G.

Small place but super friendly staff! Food was delicious and exactly what you’d expect from a diner. Slinger and cheeseburger were awesome. The chili was great also. If you’re hungry get the slinger. Great place, you won’t be disappointed. Shown here is the ying Yang slinger.

The food wasn’t very good. And they are expensive for what you get in my opinion. My husband and I went in for breakfast and he ordered 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns it came with toast. I ordered the same thing. However we didn’t want the toast so we ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy and split it as neither of us wanted a full order. They were horrible. The biscuit that I had was hard like it had been from the day before. We also both had coffee to drink. Our bill was almost 40.00 and that’s not counting the tip. We will not be back. Let me say that we have also went to the one in Arnold a couple of times and never came close to paying that. We ordered the same thing at the Arnold location. And the food was better then this one. If you want to try it I would suggest you go to the Arnold location. The service and food is better.

A wonderful place, has an old time feel. The food is excellent, did not take long to get served. We have decided this is where we will eat each time the grandson has a football game in the area. The prices are as good as the food.
