I ordered a lobster roll and hibachi salmon with noodles. The food was excellent, my food was ready at pick up and the lady who assisted me was friendly. I gave a 4 star rating as I prefer the location in effingham over this one. It seems the pickup times are faster and the food is better. This location is also great though!

This restaurant was mentioned a long time ago 2 me but I kept hearing how expensive it is…well on Saturday in April I decided y not & I’m glad I went…yes a little pricey but not like red lobster…that place is ridiculous priced now & we decided not 2 go there again. Anyway I do recommend Fujiyama Japanese. Me & my hubby sat at the hibachi grill table & it was pretty cool the only downfall I didn’t like was my chicken & shrimp was over cooked but still good …but I am happy I went cuz we got to talk to some nice people at the table with us so if u get the chance & u want something different then try it

The food was delicious and it also came out to the table really quick, the ambiance was also very nice as well. If you drive a truck they have a gravel lot that you can park at as well. If you are in the area definitely stop by.

Came in during lunch time. Doors open at 11 a.m. . Was not disappointed with the place at all, it was immaculate. Friendly servers and the hibachi chef was funny and and a great cook. They offer hibachi, sushi bar and alcohol bar. I even played with the koi fish. Highly recommended.

Love the hibachi grill here! Overall what you would expect from a good Japanese hibachi grill experience. Good dinner and a show. White selection of beers and wines. I highly recommend the hibachi steak, chicken and rice. Everything is cooked fresh right in front of you and you can have just about anything that you want to be grilled right in front of you. Great place to celebrate birthdays. If you’re in the Mattoon area, you should definitely check this place out.
