Just had Joy Chinese Cuisine for the first time. My daughter and I were returning from a grueling journey to the only place we could get a DPS appointment in nearby Lake Worth (pause for laughter) and she said she wanted dumplings. Who am I to deny this request for my dear and only daughter? Anyway, I had heard good things about the place so we decided to drop in mid-afternoon (2-ish). Two orders of steamed pork dumplings, some Oolong tea, and we split a bowl of their beef noodle soup. It was all absolutely delicious! The seasoning on the dumplings was perfect, and the noodle broth was rich and savory with just the right amount of heat to please both me (a heat freak) and my daughter (a big wimp). Our server was fast and friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to watch the gentleman actively making dumplings out in front, too. I highly recommend both items we got. You will not be disappointed! We will definitely be back.

Truly delicious, I had always driven past here on the way home and never gave it a chance. I’m glad I did, will be my new go to for take out as well! Service was excellent, I really did enjoy it!!

This was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and I have to say this meal was absolutely delicious! We ordered the dumplings, veggie egg rolls (not pictured), General Tso’s chicken, and Beef with Broccoli. The veggie egg rolls were a 10. The dumplings were a 9. The general Tso’s chicken, although wasn’t spicy as advertised, was a 9(SUPER saucy!). The beef with broccoli was a 7 — just didn’t have much flavor, but it wasn’t bad at all. The side of steamed rice was simply that, nothing to write home about. The fried rice was meh, not much flavor.

The most disgusting food I’ve tasted in a while! Found 2 random pieces of chicken inside Shrimp Lo Mein. They are probably mixing old food with the new or someone else’s food. Chicken and Broccoli had no brown sauce instead it was white and bland. Chicken tasted like card board. Wasted my entire lunch on this place – never again!

The food and service are fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone. The only reason I didn’t give the full 5 stars is how much the price has increased. However, I understand it’s like that everywhere, but it makes it hard to afford for the whole family now.

I’ve driven by the restaurant countless times but finally decided to give it a try and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is nice, but casual, and the food was a notch above many similar places. Add that to reasonable prices and good service and I’ll be back next time I get a chance.

This is by far the nastiest chicken I’ve ever tasted. I took one bite and it’s definitely been frozen for a period of time. It was rubbery and chewy and some pieces were undercooked. After taking this picture I threw it away. Wasn’t worth it.

I loved the atmosphere as soon as we arrived. The ambience is nice and peaceful with music featuring traditional Chinese instruments. Also, it wasn’t packed full of tables. There is a bar areas with TVs for those who want to just get tapas and drinks. Server Alex was very professional and efficient. The Jasmine tea was really great on a cold evening. The crab rangoons are really, although I wish they had more crab (imitation crab). The hot and sour soup and egg drop were hot and delicious starters. Chicken with vegetables platter was packed with meat and the veggies tasted so fresh. The menu says they don’t add msg to the food and they go easy on the oil. That being said the fried rice wasn’t very oily- some people might prefer with more oil. I thought it was great. The Hunan beef dish was good and the meat was very tender. Someone at a nearby booth ordered the appetizer sampler and ir looked amazing. Excited to try that next time. Overall giving it all 5 stars. I was impressed with service, food, cleanliness and ambience!!
