A gem! Went here for the first time a few days ago and my experience was great. I ordered a basket of fries and tea and sat along the Riverwalk and enjoyed the view. It’s such a cool spot to hang out and relax in nature. I would definitely return!

Was a little surprised with the quality of the food, but the breakfast quesadilla knocked my socks off, with an orange juice that tasted freshly squeezed. Can’t beat the atmosphere of a calm summer morning by the lake and sailboats either. Lots of shaded seats available as well.

The location is wonderful and the employees are great. But the method of increasing efficiency and cutting costs seems to be just to not cook the food. My grilled cheese was so undercooked that the cheese wasn’t melted and the bread not toasted, and the fries look like they are still fresh potatoes. I’m not super impressed given the location and busy-ness.

Love this place! It was a very busy Sunday and Alex was such a sweetheart in her suggestions of foods and services! I asked a lot questions about what to get and in the end, the black bean burger and cheese curds along with the lemonades, the best way to go! She was easy to talk to and I never felt rushed when ordering. Alex is like a boomarang, you keep coming back for more haha great staff overall! Also the food was ON POINT. Burger cooked to perfection and with the works – flavortown over here! The cheese curds were cooked just right – not too salty either and all washed down with the refreshing lemonade! They did not disappoint! I recommend this place and the lovely staff!

Hard to beat the Bread & Pickle concession at Lake Harriet. Great food and friendly staff in an ideal location. Nice to see them open during the bandshell and and concession building renovations. Yummy seared walleye sandwiches, fries or chips and Arnie Palmers are our favorites. And then there’s the popcorn! Thanks, Bread & Pickle. You rock!

This is always a stop for us (many times) when we visit during summer. Million dollar views of the lake and check out the lake Harriet bandshell concert schedule for some entertainment. The food is good (altho could be better/new options) and haven’t seen composting disposal options this summer (as there were in previous years). Our favs are burgers, pickle on a stick, must order popcorn, fries are good. Ice cream is usually v good altho occasionally has had ice. Also a great kids playground in park. Staff are also amazing and food is usually quick. Occasionally a line to order. Love it

Fun little place for summer outings to the Harriet Lake. You can grab a full meal of a cheeseburger or brat, or a quick snack of cheese curds (actually good ones, almost as good as at the State Fair). Or refresh with a tasty ice cream, or for adults, a cold brew – both always a treat on hot days or evenings, especially if you’re catching a summer weekly live concert at the band shell. Always busy, but generally quick and efficient, which is much appreciated. Also – not the cheapest, but not a ripoff either.

Nice casual spot right next to the lake. The food was great and the staff was friendly. There was also live music at the park behind the place.
