Stopped at this place for an early dinner as my mom and I were very hungry. They sat us down right away and our waitress was nice and recommended the warm lobster roll over the cold one and she didn’t let me down! Even though the food was delicious, it’s pricey for my lobster roll was $35 and my mom’s hamburger was $21. I could’ve just ordered a lobster roll on the pier for $15 but you get what you pay for! The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and they have some seating upstairs too. I would suggest this place to anyone who is looking for quick service and good food but isn’t worrying about prices!

Great group of people at the bar. Kenzie, our bar tender/server, was very well educated on food, drinks, and the area.

Run don’t walk to this restaurant! We got there at a peak time, so we had a 20 minute wait. A patron came out & said, it’s worth the wait. It absolutely was!! We were seated & our server immediately took our drink order. By the time she came back with them we were ready to order our food. We calamari, NY strip steak with lobster, seafood risotto & Caesar salad with anchovies on the side. The steak was cooked perfectly, and it came with delicious garlic potatoes & asparagus. I ate the entire plate. The seafood risotto was a good portion size. All of it was cooked well! The calamari was so fresh! I could have eaten that alone for dinner.

This place is the epitome of, “Don’t judge a book by its cover.” A small hole in the wall bar in the downtown area of Old Orchard Beach serving up amazing quality dishes! I have been going here with my family for years. On my most recent visit, I went with the scallop carbonara. The scallops were seared on the outside and juicy on the inside. The pasta was dressed in a delicious sauce, topped with freshly grated cheese, edamame, and crispy bacon. The portion was a perfect amount of pasta where you didn’t feel too full. A few years back, I had their Peruvian chicken with the green sauce, and I haven’t stopped thinking about it! I hope one day, they will bring it back on the menu because it was SOO GOOD!! Do yourself a favor and put Big Daddy’s on your list when you go to Old Orchard Beach!!

Stopped in here for a bloody and breakfast. I’m glad we did, lovely bar tender and a good breakfast menu. Excellent Bloody Mary extra spicy with shrimp, lobster and bacon!

Always have loved this place since I ate there for the first time in 2020. Bummed out that the Bloody Mary no longer has the shrimp, crab, and lobster in it, but it’s still the best we’ve ever had!! There were only 2 downers we’ve experienced there in all these years, and they both happened on the same trip. Ordered dinner and would not substitute the mashed potatoes with rice (not a big deal) and ordered medium med- rare in the steak. Came out med-well. Typically wouldn’t be an issue, but when the server asked how the food was, and with prices being so high, we decided to kindly respond that it was overcooked. The server was a kind woman who offered a resolution after we told her we did not want to be compensated with anything. As she walked away to get a new steak, this other server (let’s just say she’s unnaturally energetic) turned around and invaded my significant other’s personal space (like shoulder touching shoulder a few inches from his face kind of close), and proceeds to invite herself into the issue at hand (that was being handled very well by our server). She then proceeds to start “educating” us on med-well and med-rare, basically trying to argue with us. We pointed out how my other half was a retired 5-star chef and knows the difference. She wouldn’t stop though, she was pushing to argue. So, the fact that we were there on a romantic date with each other and not have a philosophical debate on what a med-rare steak is, he appropriately said “I want you to leave our table”. She kept going on and on, pointing out that she’s our servers boss so on and so forth., but want leaving us alone as requested. So again, he told her to just leave our table and walk away and tend to her own. She finally walked away and went directly to the kitchen. A minute or 2 later the “med-rare” steak came out. It was rare, barely heated, and still cold on the inside. Quite sure that was her revenge as she made it a point to glance over for the rest of the evening and giggle. Before we left, when my other half went to the restroom she came over to grab a plate and snidly asked if we liked the steak.

The burger I got was delicious, and our server was great! The only downside were the fries, they weren’t salted at all and just tasted kinda mid. Everything else was amazing though!

Were there for 08/14 dinner. I don’t remember our waitress’ name but she was just terrific! Excellent service and food; girlfriend got the Mediterranean pasta, I got the original burger, very, very good! It is a small place, so don’t be discouraged if you have to wait, it’s worth it.
