Normally, there is not an issue. Went during off peak hours, service was decent, food was over cooked and told they were “struggling and short on oil”. The poppers were good as usual. The coleslaw was dry and not much flavor. Several customers came in that were originally I’m drive-thru as their orders were wrong. The cashier didn’t seem to concerned about the errors. The DM did okay in handling the situation but could really use some training in soft skills.

Usually get really good food from this location. Not today though, chicken was old and dry, Mac and cheese was burned and stuck together in clumps and didn’t even get biscuits with the family meal. $70 down the drain. Won’t go back for sure.

Ordered a 16 piece meal with 3 sides and waited a very long time for my order… Understandable with the amount of people ordering. When I received my order I took it home to sit down for a dinner with my family but to my dismay, I had only recieved half my order. I got 8 pieces of chicken when I ordered 16. I tried calling the restaurant but none of my phone calls was answered. After a few minutes of debating with my family about the order I decided to go back to the restaurant which is about 10 miles from my home and tried to ask for the rest of my order. After talking with one of the employees I was told that my intentions were to get a free meal… At which point I decided to just ask for my money back.i did not like being told that I was trying to cheat a huge corporation out of a few measley pieces of mediocre chicken at best. The employees who sold my the order were very rude and so was the shift manager. After a bit the manager apologized and said she would refund me my money if I came back the next day. I went back to get my refund the following day and was told that I could not get my money back. The Church’s location in Bernalillo is notorious for getting take out orders wrong on a constant basis and the employees are very rude. I would think that the shift manager would present herself with a bit more decorum but her attitude was just as bad as her employees. So whoever reads this review please be cautious of this location and if you have a choice between Bernalillo location or Albuquerque go with any of the latter locations… Better yet go with Popeyes or even better go with Golden Pride chicken.
