Saw this restaurant from TikTok and was skeptical, but the food here amazing. An incredible restaurant that is known for their delicious Ube pizza which is massive (1 pizza can feed 2 people) and contains sausage, green onions, onion, potato, Taro Ricotta, a Béchamel sauce, and taro crust. The crust itself was so well-cooked and delicious! While it’s not on the main menu, their Ube pizza is quite popular and is limited. I came on a Thursday and there was plenty left.

Finally got to try SD after having my eyes on it for a while. It’s a cute little pizza shop with friendly staff/owners. Not sure where else you can go to watch someone spin dough and make your pizza. They make some of the thinnest crust pizzas around which is different. It’s perfect because your crust won’t get soggy, but a little tough to reheat if you have leftovers.

Randomly found this place and absolutely loved the pizzas! They make only XL pizzas, so go with friends! Ordered the corn pizza and margherita half & half. Both were just fantastic. The thin crust was perfect and taste was unmatched. The vibe was pretty good as well! Like a nice backyard picnic with pizza and beer/wine. The chef personally came and took feedback, said he likes thin crusts himself. Way to go chef! Would totally go again.

Ordered based on reviews. Utterly disappointed. Salad was underwhelming (the greens were fresh though), the pine nuts were rancid. The sausage on the pizza is just weird (way too much herbs and way over mixed so the texture is mushy) and in massive chunks. The crust and sauce were decent. Tiramisu was very old and cream had gone rancid.

It’s just real good pizza. The crust is always perfect plus the balance of toppings is never off. In my opinion, this is the best pizza you can get in Oakland and they never have a bad day. The patio area is really cozy and they always have solid beers. The wings are solid too. The staff is always warm and welcoming too.
