Just enjoyed an amazing dinner. We are from Fayette county and we’re in the city here for something and decided to take a chance. And so glad we did. Very authentic and not generic Mexican food. So no Queso dip here. You get the real homemade authentic meal. Definitely give them a try!

From someone who used to live in San Diego, CA for many years, this is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. If you want texmex, this is not the place. The food is authentic. I felt like I was walking into my best friend’s house (from Mexico). The food tasted just like hers and her mom’s. I’ve never experienced such authentic Mexican food at any restaurant (even from CA). It was sad to see that the place was empty, which the only thing my husband and I could understand is that most ppl from the area are not used to authentic Mexican food. They also had the cleanest public high chair I’ve ever used for my daughter. Highly recommend!!

This is the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen. The food was great. We ordered the chilaquiles and enchilada verdes. Best chilaquiles I’ve ever had. The enchiladas were delicious. Food is served on warm ceramic plates and drinks are served in clay cups. The restaurant is decorated wonderfully and quirky. Our toddler daughter kept asking for more.

Do not waste your money here. I heard about this restaurant, so I actually drove 2 hours to come eat here. I was really disappointed with the food though. It seemed like they just reheated the food, and it had a burnt taste. However, I do have to say the service and theme was lovely. The drinks and quesadillas were good but that’s it.

I came after a friend recommended the food. I have to say, I am impressed! Great service, really well priced, and the food is delicious! The birria is truly authentic. I love the atmosphere as well. The jarritos for the drinks and the plates are beautiful and give the place the aesthetic that you want when eating Mexican food. Will definitely return soon!
