Since the first time I’ve stepped foot in the Gathering Place it has been nothing but positive. Usually only go for drinks, but the food is good as well. Love the doughballs! Bartenders… oh the bar tenders, they look like they will rip your throat out, but they are the sweetest ladies you could meet. Always good music, and great drinks. Prices aren’t bad either.

The pizza was good. The tables and bathroom were clean. They must have been short staffed because it took them a long time to bring out our beverages- we could hear them saying they ran out of cups.

If I could give it less than one star, I would. Service was garbage. We waited about 20 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we had sat down. The waitress took our drink order and we didn’t see her again for another 30 minutes. She took our food order when she came back and it took an hour to get our food. Wasn’t checked on in between that. Sat with empty cups for a while. Absolute garbage service and the food wasn’t worth the wait for that long. I will never come back.

The blandest nachos I’ve ever had. I ordered with nachos with chicken but there was no seasoning on the chicken. The iced tea tasted odd, too, there was a strange flavor to it and hint of sweetness to it, as if they added cola to watered down iced tea to give it some color. The waitress was excellent tho.

We ordered the Hawaiian pizza with BBQ sauce instead of pizza sauce! It was delicious. Ashley was our server, she was great and kept our drinks full! Strawberry cider boys is on tap and we loved it!

Food was good, but we waited over half an hour. 2:30 in the afternoon, not many people in the place. It’s a locals place; good ole boys at the Bar in conversation about “F this”, “F’ing that”. Doubt I’ll be back.
