The Coffee Station started in 1983 as a small doughnut and coffee stand next to a train station. It only had a counter and a few tables…With-in time and some elbow grease from owner John Paciotti it expanded, and moved across the lot and later lead to a second location in Garnet Valley. It now has a much larger building, bigger counters and a lot more tables. Those doughnuts & coffees turned into a full breakfast and lunch menu, But don’t worry, it hasn’t lost that great made-from-scratch feeling it always had!

What a little gem! I went here years ago and had a lackluster meal… and thus I’ve clearly been missing out since! Our kitchen renovation has led to some more local experimentation, and I’m very lucky to have checked out this spot with my two younger kids. The restaurant has a honey, slightly kitschy aesthetic. Lots of neat stuff on the walls for your kids to look at during your meal (or for you!). You can also eat in a former bank vault! Service was outstanding with well-delineated roles among order taker, server, and busser. Super nice to my two kids. Willy Wonka pancakes were outstanding as were Chunky Monkey pancakes. I had eggs Benedict with some really excellent hashbrowns. Coffee was outstanding. Who knew… Just a few blocks from my house is a little breakfast gem in Morton Pennsylvania.

Great food at a good price point in a fun location. I’m a big enjoyer of the Chris sandwich. I bring people to the coffee station all the time, never had someone not like it

I ordered avocado toast, and the avocados looked and tasted funny. I sent it back and ordered a bagel instead. The toasted bagel with butter was definitely better, but this place needs to do a better job with serving viable avocados (especially since avocado toast is supposed to be a healthy food). Thankfully I was only charged for the bagel and hot tea.

The service is fine, however, my kids loved the food and when they decided to share with enthusiasm that they would love to eat there everyday the waiter responded with okay thanks and walked away. No enthusiasm at all. When you see polite and thankful kids you acknowledge it with the same enthusiasm so this generation can continue you to be kind. Also, it made me not want to eat here in the very future.

I had a standard benchmark breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and coffee. Usually I get a fruit cup, but only blueberries & bananas were available. The potatoes had a steamy flavor that tasted less “fried” than most. I forgot to ask about peppers & onions.

Delicious food, I love their bacon. Great spot to eat breakfast before getting on the train. Parking is easy and employees are friendly.

So got breakfast from here and the prices are way too expensive for what you get.

The food is delicious and the service is wondeful! The scrapple fries are to die for because of the Sriracha sauce, the avocado toast is really delicious as are the fried home fries. The only negative is that prices are on the higher side ($3 for coffee, $3 for hot tea, $10 for avocado toast that has 2 eggs on it, etc.) >> But then everything is more expensive now with inflation and gas so darn high.
