Had a great Sunday morning at The Meteor Cafe! We had iced lattes and breakfast tacos both were amazing and made fresh. The tacos were steaming and made right before they were brought to us. But the absolute best was the chocolate croissant and the super friendly helpful staff!!

The Meteor is a espresso bar / wine bar / pizza joint and yes, bike repair shop. That’s an interesting combination and I enjoyed the time here. We did the wine flight, sampling a variety from Bloodroot Cellars (Sonoma County) poured professional and at a comfortable pace.

We visited this place for first time from Florida. 25 min wait for two tacos. There was an egg shell in the egg taco we ordered. The staff at the front had a lack for attention to detail. When we talked to the “manager”, he said it would be ready right away and when the food comes out, it’s cold, basic, unseasoned, dry. How do you mess up tacos like this. We will not be back.

The Chef’s View
I had the avocado toast and it was over the top good The egg was definitely farm fresh and super orange and rich in flavor. Great environment with an eclectic spin. Bike shop meets hippy eatery with kicked up ingredients! Definitely check out this fun place to eat!

The bike shop here was very accommodating. I had an issue with my tubeless tires and they looked into it while we sat and had a drink. The folks there were extremely knowledgeable which reassured me they were going to do it right. They do not take appointments so don’t expect major issues to get fixed right away.

This place has gone seriously downhill. And after months of the same experience, I figured it was time to review it. Every time we come, the first thing I order I get the following response “Sorry, we’re out of that.” Without fail. I’m not clear on how they’re always out of standard ingredients? Ordered the tacos this AM bc they’re out of biscuits and the tacos weren’t warm. My husband ordered them fresh bc he asked for no cheese and the potatoes in his were ice cold. He ordered an iced latte, got a hot one. The girl working at the front has no orientation for service and it’s just a depressing place to grab a meal anymore.
