Food was great. I had a ground beef taco salad. My drink, a 7up, tasted like cleaner but its better than mold. I sent it back and asked for a coors and they brought me a coors lite but they gladly fixed it. Over all I can say I would go again. I’ll just stick to drinks served in the manufactued vessel.

Not bad could use some improvement quite honestly. The service was okay. No one ever asked me how I liked my food although they did bring it to me quickly. I ordered the taco salad and it was really small. Tiniest taco salad I’ve ever ordered without a doubt. So small I thought it was off the kids menu by mistake. My check was never brought to me and I ultimately went to the register to pay. It was what it was.

My third visit to this establishment. This time was Amazing. The service was very attentive and personalized. The food was tasty and well presented. My first visit was not impressive, food was very greasy, second and third were very well done. I would highly recommend Carne Asada (burritos, taco or plate). I would stay far away from any hamburger-based meals as they tend to be very greasy. The photo is of a Kearny Asada burrito. It was excellent.

Great food and fantastic service! I highly recommend you check these guys out and support the town of Colfax! Only thing to be aware of is they are currently waiting on their liquor license so don’t plan on a margarita (as of 11/1/22). They should have that sorted out in a month or two by the sounds of it.

I had the Burrito Carne Asada, it was huge and so delicious. Honestly, best Carne Asada burrito I’ve ever ate and I’ve had quite a few. Chips and salsa were great, too! First time there, will be back many more times fir sure.

We stopped in to eat while we were in Colfax. The service was great and the food arrived in short order. Everything tasted just as I hoped it would. The beans and rice were delicious, and my combo plate; taco tamale, and enchilada tasted great too.

Here’s a place that you could easily miss by just driving right by – but don’t. Unassuming from the street, but step inside and you’ll find a very nice, comfortable, very clean and well maintained establishment. Booths are comfortable with plenty of room. The menu is organized and easy to read with a wide selection of standard Mexican dishes, but includes a few things for los gringos, as well. Portions are fair and prices very reasonable with a three-item combo of one tamale, one enchilada and one taco with rice and beans priced at $14.50. That’s a bargain these days. Food is seasoned to accommodate the more bland INW palate, but still satisfactory. Chips and homemade salsa are complimentary. Wait staff was friendly and responsive. All in all, a pretty good experience.

Cash only with an atm inside was a surprise, but understandable. They are an authentic Mexican food restaurant and most of our food tasted delicious. My husband kept asking me if I thought they would use ketchup to season their fajita’s which made me suspicious of how he felt about his food. It does state all over the menu that if you take a bite off of someone else’s plate, they’ll charge you $2. Which made us feel awkward as a family because we love to try each other’s food at new restaurants we are testing for the first time, as in this case.
