Tonight after driving for over 18 hours throughout the country, we decided to take a risk and stop into “Santana’s”. And it was the best decision we’ve ever made. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was excellent! If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would! The Horchata, was the best thing I’ve ever drank. And my best friend, being from Mexico agreed, this is just like the stuff from back home. 5 stars to our waitress for being so awesome, and 5 stars to the kitchen. You really made us feel at home tonight. Thank you.

If you love what you do it shows. The staff is very nice, and friendly. They were attentive to everything. The food was freshly made and great. Our drinks were always full, and our waiter was very funny. Go once and you’ll be going back for sure.

We’re very picky about Mexican food since we cook it almost daily but we’retravelingcso no time to cook. We were skeptical about finding good Mexican food in a small town in Missouri but we were pleasantly surprised. This place has authentic Mexican food and it tastes great! Good Mexican music playing and our server was very courteous, enjoyable, and attentive. Definitely will go back when in town.

The food was a welcome respite from the many burger joints in the area. Flavor and portions were perfect and service was very nice. Our server took in stride all of our substitutions and requests. Recommend this place!

Tacos were VERY greasy to the point my tortilla was soaked before I even received my food. All our food we ordered was ice cold not even Luke warm. We had to ask multiple times for a refill and server didn’t bother to stop at the table at all and ask how we were doing. Will definetly never be eating here again was far from impressed.

Sadly, this was one of the worst meals that we’ve ever had. My husband ordered chicken fajitas and there was only about 6 small pieces of chicken in it. There was no fajitas seasoning in it and it was very blah. I had the steak tacos which had very little meat in them and they didn’t include the limes. The margaritas were barely drinkable, way too sweet and no limes to squeeze in them. Our waitress didn’t speak English very well and seemed to have a hard time understanding what we wanted to order. Would not go back or recommend this place.

Highest quality food, very friendly service but they were understaffed a little bit. Decor was not superb, but everything is clean and well laid out. Very easy to access, and a reasonably large parking lot for the number of tables they have.

This is my favorite restaurant in Keokuk. The staff is wonderful, they joke around with you and make you feel right at home. What the food lacks in authenticity, it certainly makes up for in size; the super burrito and California burrito are comically gigantic.
