Great food with a “made by Dad” touch to it. Don’t get offended by the staff. If they pick on you it means they like you. It’s all in good fun. The atmosphere is nostalgia and some sarcasm. It’s a fun experience. I can’t wait to come back and try the burger. Looks exactly like what my dad uses to make for me.

Had an excellent after church service dining experience at Dano’s Diner this past Sunday! The “phat flap jacks” (pancakes) are off the chart delicious! I’m going back to have a double stack of those with blue berries! The 5 egg bacon/cheddar omelet was amazing. It was so large that I had the rest of it for breakfast this morning! Grits were great, of course! Coffee wasn’t weak! My wife says the biscuits and sausage gravy were the best she’s had in years. (And we’re both senior citizens!) Prices are affordable and on par with most breakfast/lunch restaurants. The witty sayings on the menu and the light and friendly atmosphere can’t be beat! We are blessed! Thanks, Dano’s!

Loved the diner set up, the owner was so awesome and fun to listen to and talk with! He was cracking jokes, had us all laughing a great and fun atmosphere with awesome delicious food!! Huge portions too!! All in all we had a great experience and plan to make this spot a favorite to go to!!

This restaurant was not welcoming at all while waiting 30 min to be served and my friend food was not cooked properly. As the food came out it was cold. The fact that you stared at a black woman in disgust hurts my feelings. Very uncomfortable environment. As a business all your guest should feel welcomed.

Went here over a year ago and was told they weren’t taking any more customers. Walking back to car saw someone walking in. Waited in parking lot for 5 minutes and they never came back out. They were white, and I’m not. Local news station should do a secret setup on this place.

We loved it. Went there with my wife today for the first time. The only negative thing was the waitress she forgot what I ordered and didn’t come back to the table once after she brought the food. That was no big deal though because Dano took good care of us and couldn’t have asked for any better service. The food was awesome and we will definitely be back. Recommend it to all!
