Their food is pretty good, and the quality is consistent. The people who work there are friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you’ve never tried Saffron Tiger, I doubt you will be disappointed. Don’t forget, if you’re really hungry, they offer an all you can eat buffet which I do sometimes when I am craving extra portions of their Chili Chicken dish. The garlic Naan bread is delicious too.

Great food, good service and super friendly. It was recommended to me 3 years ago and every time I’m in town I make an effort to go. I love the variety of dishes and flavor. I’ve never been disappointed. The staff is always very friendly.

Fast casual delicious Indian food in a clean fresh environment with cheerful service – love it. We came for dinner and there was a buffet, which I was unaware of. I thought we’d order off the menu but why not do the buffet and sample a little if everything. So we did and everything was delicious from Tikka Masala to Coconut Curry to Saag Paneer. Fresh naan, good rice and even a choice of three desserts – all this for $10 and no need to wait for service or having to make a choice of what to eat.

This place is awesome! I don’t know why there aren’t more of these places around. It is such a great idea to have a fast dining Indian food buffet, it’s the perfect place to grab a quick (but filling and delicious) lunch!

I would not even give this place a one star but that is not an option. Our family dined there after they first opened and we enjoyed it, but now the food and apathy of the service is horrible. The place was deserted on a Friday night and now I know why. The desperate employees stared at us from the minute we pulled up in the parking lot, which was strange and uncomfortable, and should have been a warning sign.. I dont know why they call it Indian food. It is more like sweetened slosh that they pile on your plate. It was so awful and unedible that I asked for a second of Tandori chicken because I could not eat the rest of the food on my plate. The young employee asserted her perceived manager authority and said I would have to pay for anything extra. Bad move. Any other restaurant would not only with an apology remove or discount an item from the tab, or at least offer something complimentary. Especially if a guest is still hungry and unsatisfied. In addition, my food had some kind of grit in it that almost broke a tooth. For the rest of the night I had a regrettable feeling in my stomach and bad aftertaste in my mouth. My suggestion is, if you want good Indian food, go to a place run by people who come from that culture. They know their cuisine and usually an attentive owner or close representative who has pride in their establishment is present. There are plenty of options in Albuquerque

I stopped by here after work for a quick bite tonight and it was so good!!! I’m trying out vegetarianism and they have several options and brown rice too! Everything was hot and fresh and the young man behind the counter even gave me an extra pakora, score! I had the veggie coconut curry and saag paneer and garlic naan. All amazing. Very aromatic flavors, spicy but not too hot! Yum yum yum! Thank you Saffron Tiger, I’ll be dreaming of your perfectly cooked potatoes tonight.

I love stopping by this place anytime I’m in Albuquerque. My only complaint isn’t really a complaint: they need to open a branch in Farmington,NM and bring the wonders of Indian Cuisine to the four corners area! An all-you-can-eat Indian buffet is a great way to introduce the typical small-town American palette to the wonders of Indian dining.

Always have had a great experience with food quality and variety with the exception of this last Satuday night. Went to dinner at 7pm and they did not have the buffet stocked with even the basics such as tandoori chicken, tikki marsala, and naan. Such a disappointment.

This place has a lunch time buffet. I love their chicken tiki masala and some nan bread to go with it. Only thing about thia place is it can be a little confusing when you walk in, because it isnt very clear that lunch time is buffet. I expected to pay first then get my foos, but it seems getting your plate first is what they expect you to do.
