Honestly, it’s been a while since I have been to a waffle house. I ate here 2 days in a row. Super busy first time in staff was on top of it even though they were slammed. Food was better than I remember, and a new menu since last time I was in. Second time in it wasn’t as busy, staff was still super friendly Quick Service. Atmosphere it’s Waffle House if you like the diner thing it was great if you don’t it was mediocre. But it’s Waffle House hasn’t changed in a long time but that’s okay. Definitely will visit this location again if I get the opportunity to be back in this area.

Hate to do this but this is the 3rd bad experience at this location. This morning I arrived at 7:15. It was not busy. It took 50 minutes to get my fiesta omelet because the cook had to remake it after flipping the first one onto the stove. The cook did not care about his job and was going so slow and made it obvious he didn’t care. The second omelet looked and tasted terrible, see the picture. The server tried to make it right by giving a 10% discount and she was sweet but unfortunately she was also very slow and not staying on top of the coffee or getting condiments or even giving us a menu. We usually come here 3 times a month but will now have to go up the road to the other location across from the mall.

I absolutely love Waffle House waffles! Always hated chocolate, never really cared much for cake, so every year for my birthday what I want to eat – you guessed it – Waffles from Waffle House! My dad usually tries to convince me to pick a 4 or 5 star restaurant (for his liking), but I always said “BLEEP THAT!”, give me waffles (and in my younger years) a case of beer! (Didn’t get the latter). But on my last visit I was grief stricken to see the cost of a single Waffle is now $5 or $6, and the All-American Breakfast now costs a whopping $14+. So with my meager $10 I left with only one Waffle, but the thing that nearly destroyed my soul was when I got home and got my waffle from the bag, it was so small that I almost thought it was an Eggo! I have never regretted anything more in my life than not buying as many cartons of their Waffle Batter as I could while still maintaining a roof over my head. They were selling them during Covid and I havent seen that anytime before covid or since. Shame on you Waffle House, you have broken this man’s heart and I don’t know if it will ever heal. The staff were nice as always though, only reason this review has any stars at all! (apply for a beer license & maybe we can talk about mending the wounds you have inflicted on my person)

What a difference from the other Waffle Hose I reviewed just minutes ago! Haven’t even been here a full two minutes and I’ve already been greeted, have silverware, my order has been called to the cook, and I have a cup of coffee. If you want breakfast near the Mall of Georgia, forget the one across the street and drive down Hwy 20 to just across I985 to get the service you want from a Waffle House! Thank you, Allie! You were awesome!

I went on a Friday about 10:30 PM. There was no one in the dinning area. I about to walk in and the cook was taking a smoke. He asked me you need to talk to the person that takes your order to see if you can order TAKE OUT!!! Well she comes and said to me. If you have an order of $50.00? I said no. She said OK. Then the cook, order taker and I go in. The order taker starts going off the 3 teenager kids for not giving her a big TIP!

I’ve had really positive experiences with this location in the past, but not this time. Grits were runny (not like usual consistency) and service wasn’t great. Employees seemed to be too distracted playing on their phones (cook and waitress) or talking to each other and cutting up instead of servicing their customers. Plus yelling to their coworkers that were in the back doesn’t make for a pleasant dining experience. Waitress was playing on her phone while ringing up my bill, too. Talking about not being impressed… I doubt if I will come back to this location again.

We went to this location a few weeks ago around 7 pm. There were no vehicles in the parking lot, which I thought was strange. So we went in, and the place was deserted. At every booth and bar counter seating area were piles of dirty dishes! We said “hello” several times to see if any employees were there. From the bar seating area, you had a straight view of the back room. There was an employee, a girl, just sitting back there scrolling on her phone. Didn’t get her name as she was too far away to see if she had a name tag. She did not acknowledge our presence or even look up when she had to have heard us calling out. So I don’t know what was going on at this place? There was what looked like a blood-stained napkin among the dirty dishes laying on the bar countertop seating area! So gross! We just stood there for a few minutes, as there was not 1 clean place to sit, calling out to any employee for service. But nothing. The girl in the back room just ignored us. So we left immediately. I would have taken pictures, but ya’ll would have been too grossed out as we were. Would definitely NOT recommend this particular place. This was the store located off of GA 20, across from the IHOP and The Home Depot, in the Northern Tools/Burger King shopping center.
