Been here several times now and never disappointed! This time around we ordered the popcorn chicken both spicy and traditional style and they were so juicy and tender, not too spicy so I really enjoyed that! Then we ordered the brisket sliders which were absolutely delicious! The biscuit was so flavorful and the brisket was so tender and had the best sauce. Next the chef suggested the shrimp and grits which was hands down the best dish ever! The grits had a nice smoky flavor and the sauce drizzled over was amazing, jumbo shrimp cooked to perfection. One of us had the spicy chicken sandwich with the biggest piece of chicken, so juicy! I had the seafood gumbo, because it’s my favorite! Mom had the chicken and biscuits, which she enjoyed. A nice mojito and strawberry rose sangria were our cocktails. Everything was perfect! Can’t wait to go again soon!! And I love the quaintness of this please, super friendly wait staff too!

Hunter’s is a fun and unique spot in South Boston! The atmosphere at night is great but it’s also a good spot for Brunch. The Catfish & Chips was one of the best fish and chip dishes I’ve had, I highly recommend trying it! The Pulled Pork Sandwhich is also delicious! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Popcorn Chicken but it is good. Definitely recommend coming here for food!

My new favorite restaurant in the Boston area. Food was so tasty! Ordered the southern skillet and can’t wait to order everything else off of the menu. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very efficient and quick. Our server, Shannon, was very knowledgeable about the menu and dietary restrictions. AMAZING from start to finish!

Could not have been more pleased. The young woman who served us was very fast and routinely checked on us. The chef and his food rocked. The brisket sliders were really fantastic as were the ribs. Mashed potatoes and green bean sides were the perfect compliment. We’ll be back soon. Thanks again chef Lambert!

Food here is very good, this place has a line to get in if that’s says anything. The local bar atmosphere is the vibe here. Very hard to have any kind of conversation even with the staff I felt like I was yelling the whole time.

Read a bunch of the reviews, and I have to agree with the noise level in the restaurant is tough to have a conversation over dinner. They may have been a bit short staffed in the kitchen as our simple meals took almost 25 mins to prepare and serve.

SO GOOD!!! I saw this place on Instagram so my husband and I went for our anniversary. The inside is small but cozy and has a really cool vibe. It has a high ceiling above the bar with a big chandelier and a warm rustic feel throughout. They have very limited seating, I think they said 10 tables inside and a few outside tables with heat lamps. We had a few of their specialty drinks and they were delicious! The menu had plenty to choose from but without being overwhelming. We had the cornbread (yum!!), Popcorn chicken (good chicken but didn’t love the honey mustard sauce), fried pickles (very salty but good), and pulled pork Mac and cheese (delicious). Everything was VERY rich though so keep that in mind if your eyes are bigger than your stomach.

All of their cocktails are great! For food the popcorn chicken is good (I recommend making it hot), the salad was good and the biscuits are a must!! So yummy. Always friendly staff and quick service.

Food was delicious!! I forgot to take a picture of the drinks but I had a strawberry lemonade and my sister had a strawberry alcohol one that she said was amazing. Will definitely go again to try the Mac n cheese with brisket.
