I took my daughter on her HS graduation night as her last school reward as a “kid.” We were surprised: 1) the dining room was open until the time stated (they used to close early) 2) everyone was so friendly 3) the place was immaculately clean. We met the new owner/manager, who was a sweet young guy who worked his way up from cashier 15 years ago. He seems like he’s putting his all into getting this place to be a success. It was nice to see that this place is going to be a family destination again.

Service is awful. They have teenagers working there, that have bad attitudes. Just didn’t feel welcomed. We waited around 30 minutes for one medium size blizzard. I understand they have a drive thru as well, but the lobby was not busy and there was 3 employees there. It just felt like they were messing around or didn’t know what they were doing I’m not sure. I was hoping under new ownership and staff it would be better, but disappointed to say the least.

We waited over 10 minutes by the intercom to order & I continued to say Hello, anyone there! No response. Then I drove up to the pick up window & had to beep my horn. We order a small cone & a small cone but in a dish. I was charged for a small Sunday with no topping. I tried to explain this is not what I ordered, she continued to tell me that’s how it is because the register is telling her that. But I was there approx 3 wks ago & paid for only 2 small cones. Of course she continued to talk & stated how rude I was because she didn’t understand what I was telling her. I believe she was either the mother or owners wife. Either way. She stated that since I was going to be so rude to her, she was not going to serve me. Believe me, after living here for 39 yrs, I’m finally giving up with all the new owners of this Dairy Queen! Pooler or Savannah next time. Actually better yet Busters!

Very good Dairy Queen. Happy taste good! The service is friendly and quick and the treats come out looking like the picture. I suggest the smores blizzard as well as the cheese curds, which are to DIE FOR. Nice and clean inside. A fun place for partys and groups.
