This place was so good that we went 2x during our 5 day visit to West Palm Beach (Riviera Beach). Braised short ribs and New York strip steak both 5 star quality. A little too much garlic on the veggies for my taste but that is the only negative comment I have. The old-fashioned and pirate punch (especially the pirate punch) are top notch. Dinner was followed by a brownie, which is big enough for 2. George (I think that’s his name) was our bar tender, and the server on the 1st visit was exceptional. He was professional, friendly, and expedient. He was also the “inventor” of the pirate punch. Can’t recommend this place enough! Night two, he surprised us with the creme brulee. I almost forgot, the appetizers were really good too! We had the bacon and the Cuban egg rolls but the bacon was our favorite. The other server on night 2 was a great server as well. He and George seemed to tag team everything, bar and serving.

Locale Gastropub was our favorite food of a week-long trip to the West Palm Beach area. Everything was so flavorful and inventive. My favorite item was the shrimp scampi flatbread. And they had these amazing Cuban egg rolls that are to die for. And chimichangas with beer cheese dipping sauce that is unreal. Sorry for the half eaten food photos but we couldn’t wait to dig in. Chef Scott is a star. They also have great cocktails and live music- he played everything, and it was all fun covers. A friendly place that smiled and talked to our boys and welcomed us. We can’t wait to go back!

The entire meal was amazing. We had the Cuban egg rolls, Steak sandwich, and a burger. I so rarely order steak at restaurants because my expectations are high, I certainly didn’t expect a perfect medium rare with a steak sandwich! I also can’t wait to get back to the Pacific NW and try to recreate the Cuban Egg Roll for friends. The staff was so friendly and helpful. If I lived in the area I would spend all my time on the patio! Can’t wait for my next visit.

You will not find a more impressive display of bartending then at Locale. We have been there a few times and the mixology is off the charts. We ended up just getting wings to eat because they were a dollar each. The Thai chili wings were some of the best wings that I’ve had in Palm. Huge pieces of chicken and perfectly cooked to be crispy.

Our food was delicious! The fried chicken sandwich was so juicy, the palomas were smokey, and the burger and the cheese curds were awesome. We had an attentive and friendly waiter and over all had a great lunch date. We would definitely return!
