We’re Chubby’s Grill & Garage, and we’ve been serving the community here in Alton since 2009. Our establishment is a lot like Cheers, where everyone knows your name! I have always had a love of live music and after retirement, decided to venture into bar ownership. I enjoy the customers and getting to know them. We’re looking forward to adding tons of live music and continuing to offer the same great menu items that our customers love! They are turning Chubby’s into a game room, like Dave and Busters. Lots of games, great food, games even in the basement. It’s open during under construction, some games are free right now. This all came from the guy working there. Used to be a biker bar, I don’t do games so I won’t be back. Sorry

Just tried Chubby’s for the first time today and really enjoyed it! I ordered the boneless maple bourbon wings and they were incredible, very sweet and a thinner sauce which I like. My boyfriend ordered the Philly cheese steak and really enjoyed it, it was very filling. We ordered sweet corn bites too and they were really good.

Nice bar, similar to Fast Eddie’s, with more expensive food. Steak and Philly sandwich were great, burger and fried mushrooms were OK, and fries were fries. Bartender was responsive and vibe for a Wednesday is what one would expect

Ordered carry out for lunch today for a bunch of us. We had burgers, the philly, broccoli cheese bites, mozz sticks, and the loaded fries for the adults, and pizza for the kids. Everything was really good and the prices were surprisingly low! The Philly was my favorite. I’d definitely make it a point to come back when we’re in town again. My husband wants to dine in. To quote him: “They’re doing the damned thing!”

Great place for a drink and some good bar food. Staff was very friendly and the $5 hamburger I had was very good. This is an all cash establishment for drinks and food they do have an ATM on site. Order your drinks at the bar and your food at the kitchen counter. All menu items seem to be between $4 and $6.

Was looking for a good wing spot after mini corral closed and these guys saved me atmosphere is awesome but the food is phenomenal. Best wings around (the boom sauce and the hot wing sauce is so flavorful) they sometimes offer live music there just too many great things to say cool place is what I’ll leave you with tho
