This place is great! I had the Birria Texas Toast sandwich and it was delicious. It came with white onions and cilantro, wedge of lime, and some green hot sauce. Plus, a cup of consumé. Highly recommend you try this place!

Don’t really get the hype over this place. Birria tasted okay, for sure, but the Tapatío Ramen was not it. I’d give it a 4/10 because overall, it was TOO salty. It was a bummer for me because I couldn’t really appreciate the birria flavor.

My girlfriend & I were excited to try out this birria spot. The service was fine, fairly quick. Call me crazy but I thought flautas are crunchy but to my disappointment, they were soft, soggy, and fell apart. They advertise the flautas with onion, cilantro, homemade salsa & sour cream but received none of those items. My girlfriend ordered the quesabirria tacos and they also were falling apart due to the tortilla not being that warmed up. The meat and cheese portions were perfect but the taste wasn’t anything to remember, not bad nor really good. The consomé was plain and lacked flavor, it did not add to the taste of the birria. The agua frescas were the star of the show as they had good taste and were not that sweet nor lacking the flavor they advertise. Overall other birria taco spots are worth it, but this one not so much if you’re looking for better flavor.

I’ve eaten many birria tacos throughout Austin and in other cities, including Mexico. These tacos aren’t it, and the consomme is tasteless. I thought I had corona again and lost my taste of smell. The staff was lovely and it’s a great location. But I won’t be driving to get these tacos anytime soon.

Tacos are delicious! I love the Buda location so I’m so happy they added this second location. Parking is good. Food was pretty quick. The only issue I had was the girl who took my order had a serious attitude issue. Not sure if it was because it was super hot outside or inside the taco truck but she was pretty rude when I asked for my drinks when I had received my order.

This was our first Birria experience. We tried the four Beef Quesibirria Taco, it was fried tacos filled with slow cooked beef (it has similar textures between corned beef and barbacoa), melted cheese and dipped in a special soup. it was also a good leftover
