The pizzas we ordered were all delicious. They are not smothered in tomato sauce so all the flavors of the toppings and seasonings come through. The crusts are crisped with olive oil on the outside and light and slightly chewy on the inside. The “small” salads were very good and generously sized; two were more than three of us could eat. We sat outside on the large shaded patio. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and food arrived quickly. Great restaurant!

We were doing laundry in this strip with this restaurant and decided to have some wine and an appetizer while we wait on our clothes. The house Chardonnay is very smooth and refreshing. No after bite at all. We ordered their calamari.. easily some of the best we’ve ever had. The batter had great flavor and it was cooked to perfection, not chewy at all. And our waiter was really great. He was informative and knew exactly when to check on us. We will be back for an entire meal soon.

I thought the Milo’s Pizza was awesome but both my colleagues who go there more frequently thought it was over cooked. The house salad was a hit! They unfortunately ran out of both of their offerings of imported beer from Greece. It was hard to compete for the attention of the server because there was a 20 person party which spread his time (he tried to keep up).. This place is solid but it was just an off night…I will be back because the pizza is great and unique.

My family gets take-out pizza here every couple weeks and has dined in a handful of times over the last 10 years. Their pizza is awesome, very easily the best in Davis, and a great value. The entrees and apps are good, but to us the stand-out has always been the pizza. The restaurant decor and kitchen ventilation system badly need to be renovated, but to get around that, we just get take out.

The service was good but the food is definetly not worth the price. I haven’t tried the pizza but it seems like that is popular so I would stick to trying one of those if anything. When I dined in, I got the eggplant mousaka and it wasnt restaurant quality, more like something you would get if you went to someones house. Not bad, not amazing, definetly not worth 20 dollars. I really liked the salad it came with though! I took something to go for my husband and he didn’t like it so I asked if I could get something else. They had said it’s not their fault he didn’t like it but they would give me something of the same price or less so I tried to go with some appetizers to be safe and those also weren’t amazing. I wish I tried the pizza!

The food was great overall! We started with complimentary bread and butter. The bread was warm and soft on the inside. My friend had the potato soup and I had the salad with feta cheese dressing, which I recommend the dressing. The dolmades (ground beef and rice wrapped grapeleaves) were delicious, however the lemon taste from the gravy was a little too strong for me. I would probably get them just as an appetizer to share instead of as an entree for myself. The moussaka was tasty!

I love Symposium, they have a great lunch special also. It feels like a real family place, the pizza is good, the souvlaki is great. The servers are very nice and friendly.

Stopped by after a kids soccer game – we got a pizza and it was outstanding- my son said that it was “the best pizza he’s ever tasted”, while that may be due to how hungry he was, I agree that the pizza is great- especially the crust, crunchy and tasty.

It has been about 2 months ago that I tried this pizza place for the first time. I forgot what I ordered, but I ordered 3 of their specialty pizzas. Brought them home and found all a bit undercooked to my liking. Well read on my fellow pizza lovers, as this was my day of enlightenment.
