Employees were rude, not helpful and to busy gossiping to help customers. Place had a funny smell. Food was disgusting. Who loads up a Kung Pao Chicken with big chunks of celery and carrots?? Broccoli in garlic sauce should be that, not a whole bunch of other vegetables in it. The Sesame Shrimp and the General Tao Shrimp was 90% grease and breading and 10% shrimp!! The wonton soup had a thick layer of yellow grease on the top of it. The “fried rice” was bright yellow, no vegetables, just yellow rice!! Laden in lots of grease and tumeric. If I wanted indian food, that’s what I would of ordered. The Worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ordered ahead and was told it would be an hour and a half wait for pickup because they were so busy. We waited, got there at designated time and the place was a ghost town. The employees pretty much ignored us. We had to filter through the pickup orders ourselves to find ours. The food was completely inedible. The fortune cookies were either empty (no fortune) or had a Duo Lingo Ad. Pathetic. If you are looking for good Chinese in McHenry or surrounding areas, Lakemoor, DO NOT GO TO CHINATOWN!! Overpriced Greasy Tumeric Laden Food!!! Utterly Unbelievable that they are still in business. I wanted to give it no stars, but I am not able to do that so 1 star it got. If I could I would give it negative 10 stars!!

I had a craving for Chinese food and China Town was nearby my location, I ordered orange chicken and instead of white I ordered fried rice, it was to go, after I picked up the order I checked it out on my car and the first thing I noticed there was no napkins nor cutlery, it supposed to be included when someone order to go. About the food, the orange chicken tasted good but the fried rice looked more like mexican rice, plain light yellow rice with no much flavor instead of the traditional brown chinesse fried rice that has eggs in it.

So sad. I love this place for their egg rolls. ONLY place i go to for their egg rolls. Today, i found a piece of plastic (string like) in my egg roll. When we called, they offered to replace it with another egg roll. sorry, I will never eat here again, keep your egg roll.
