It’s a fast food taco place, you know what you are in for when you order.

We stopped by to try the new Taco John’s in Brannon Crossing. I got two soft steak tacos, i.e. ground beef, And, my wife got one hard shell ground beef taco. I liked the quality ingredients and freshness. My wife liked the hard shell. The dining area is bright with large Windows. Our food was tasty. Service was fast. Based on our fist time eating at Taco John’s, we would both recommend Taco John’s.

Best place for Taco Tuesday!!! Outstanding prices, nice variety of tacos and burritos for breakfast and late night, and fresh ingredients (by far) compared to other Tex-Mex restaurants. Service can be a little slow, but they are getting a high volume of customers from their opening this month. You may run to the border for another restaurant, but I’d rather drive to Taco John’s and have a better meal!!!

The food is great, and oddly nostalgic for this area considering the other Taco John’s locally have all closed down. The service is great, the staff are all polite and prep your meal in a timely manner. The store is clean and it’s a great place for your family to grab lunch.

Finally got to give Taco John’s a try. Decided to wait 3 weeks for business to die down and for them to iron out any opening pains. The service was fine and staff was friendly. The food however was quite mediocre. The potato oles didn’t have any seasoning other than salt. Not really interested in plain tater tots with my Mexican meal, but I guess the nacho cheese helped. I tried a Beef crunch burrito which was on the smaller side and tasted like simple Ortega seasoning that I make at home. Also tried a grilled chicken burrito which was overall bland. Nothing I ate made me want to eat it again. Maybe their breakfast is good, but I’m not sure it’s worth even giving a shot. I’ll stick with taco bell

Tastes like white people taco night, only better! Nice shells on the crunchy taco, good flavor beef, yellow nacho cheese like movie theater/stadium and Taco Tico used to have, I loved it. Good chips. The fried chicken tacos are FIRE . Soda was on point. I’ll be back to try other items.

I got the taco trio with refried beans. It was good but didn’t have very much stuff in the tacos and it definitely needed more cheese. The flavors were good, just not wow worthy

Food was extremely bland, barely warm, and overpriced. We tried several different menu items and the only thing worth eating was the potatoes. In my opinion Taco Bell is better, for a fraction of the price.

I’ve never been to a Taco John’s before, so I was excited to give it try when it opened in Brannon Crossing. The food is fair to good. If I had to compare it, I would say it leans more towards Taco Bell than Moe’s or Chipolte as far as Mexican fast-food. The quesadilla and the super burrito were good but their chips were not. Potato Ole’s seemed strange as a side dish but they were a tasty treat when dipped in the nacho cheese. And by the way, the nacho cheese was not the nasty stuff you get at a theater or a basketball game, this was good cheese. All in all, I’d give the place a 3 1/2 as far as food goes… the friendly service brought it to a 4. I’ll try it again!

I’m not sure what the hype is about. It tasted like Taco Bell only slightly worse. I ordered soft tacos and got burritos instead (close enough I guess). The flattened tater tots were good at least (ole).
