New spot in temple serving AUTHENTIC Mexican food. Don’t come here expecting the normal Tex mex style of food. We’ve been brainwashed to think peas and carrots belong in Mexican rice. Daily specials, Mondays are .99$ tostadas. Bar drinks offered. Everything from the salas, chips to dip, tortillas, and seasoning is all homemade & authentic. Prices are reasonable and little lower compared to a taqueria around here. Kid liked his food so much he wanted to order more which never happens. Only suggestion would be to offer bigger portions. Portions and prices do match but they could charge a little more and portion and little more as well. Check em out!

I live in Austin but travel to Dallas at least once a month. I make a point to stop here every trip up or down. The service is wonderful and the food is solid. It’s a small family run business and you can tell they take a lot of pride in there restaurant.

I was very unsure about trying this place because it didn’t look open and there was no cars but I’m so glad we did! This place is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s family owned and the staff is just wonderful. I can’t find Mexican food like this anywhere else these days! So good, a must try!

Food was pretty good. The rice was most definitely made from scratch! The queso however, was not the best. service was overall great. The wait time for our food took about 30 mins. Definitely not a place to go if you are in a hurry.

I went there once before and I was very disappointed in the size of my burrito. I decided to give them another try and am very pleased I did. My tacos i ate today were so yummy, and they were so quick. Furthermore, the staff working were really nice. The ranchero was also good, just a little salty for my taste. I will be returning!

Family run place at what used to be (I think) a Jack in the Box or Wendy’s. Driving up to it, it did not seem like a good place. It was empty, no other guests, parking lot could use some patching but the pictures and reviews said it was good so after thinking about it in the car, SO and I decided to try it. I’m glad we did! We had just finished running a local 5k and were cold, hungry, and pretty miserable (it was 32 degrees and raining) and the plates that came out were just what we needed. Definitely made from scratch. I had the chilaquiles verdes, brava, eggs, and potatoes. SO had the birria plate with beans and rice. Chilaquiles were crispy and sauce was delicious. Beans were nicely refried and the potatoes were perfectly fried. The only complaint we could have was that the side salsa was not hot enough. Service was prompt, tables were clean. Btw…. They also sell beer!! Thank you!!
