I ordered the Dinerburger. It was very bland and under seasoned. It was also assembled upside-down. I am not sure if that’s a thing they do or not tho. Fries were ok, needed a bit more time. The onion rings were pretty good tho. There were a lot of teenagers dining in this night we came so it was extremely loud. They were there visiting a friend working and some were eating. A Co worker had to tell the working friend to get back to work because he was taking the time to get 10 waters for his friends. Their frozen custard is really good tho!

I was so excited to get a Nielsen’s Frozen Custard right by my house. My daughter got the Grilled Ham and Cheese. I may or may not have parent taxed a section of it. The meat is sliced fresh daily and is totally worth it. Next time, I think I might have to get that. The onion rings were my favorite. I got the Diner Burger, my son got the cheeseburger kids meal and my husband got the Spicy Italian Grinder. It was a great meal. The facility was nice and clean. The prices were just right. It’s fun to watch the Frozen Custard being made at the front. They have tons of different add ins. We had to treat ourselves. I got the the Bumbleberry FC topper (raspberry & strawberry mixed). We also had an Oreo concrete shake and a raspberry chocolate concrete shake. We will definitely be coming back to try more food and frozen Custard options. The staff was very friendly and eager to serve.

Cute little place. Reminds me of like a 50’s – 60’s diner… I had a spicy Italian grinder that was delish and my girlfriend had a grilled ham and cheese that she loved!!! The employees there were super friendly and helpful.

The custard carries this place usually (have tried 4-5 different menu items, none have been very good at all). But the custard is even spotty. Cookies and cream shake pictured, which could not have had more than 2.5 Oreos in the whole thing, basically just vanilla below the top inch!

Review: Nielsen’s Frozen Custard is a delightful frozen dessert spot that brings back nostalgic flavors and a cozy atmosphere. As an elderly gentleman who appreciates the simple pleasures in life, I found myself drawn to the creamy goodness of their frozen custard.

Good food great service. Haven’t tried the Custard yet, but I have heard good things. Onion rings are so far a menu favorite for me.

The food and custard were great! One of the best good ole fashion pastrami burgers I’ve had.. The set up is odd. No waitress/waiter. The menus are up front you order there. Seems odd to have a line back up or go back and forth when you decide what to order. No serving trays, despite the ample seating, all good is sent out in to go bags. You can only get a cone in 3 flavors. Would be 5 stars but the setup is odd.

The machine is is so loud I can’t hear them, they can’t hear me. I recommend using drive through or the genius walk up window. It can get pricey here, but the food seems worth it on occasion. Fun atmosphere. The staff was friendly seem to work hard. Menu can be hard to find inside, they have menus at the register. For a bit of nostalgia try it out. Also the ice cream really is great.

First time my family has gone here. Kids running the diner who were more interested in talking to their friend than helping customers. There were a couple girls that were helpful and nice. Asked one of the employees where the bathroom was and they didn’t know?????? Good was not great either. The bags they brought them in were smeared with condiments. Some of the fries were not cooked all the way. Burgers were just ok. The custard was good for sure. It was so loud in there, from one of the machines running, that you had to speak up to have a conversation. We won’t be going back.
