Found this place just outside of San Diego with my daughter one day. Boy, am I glad we did. We walked in and were immediately seated and greeted. Already off to a great start, our server was kind, attentive, and very informative on the menu items and gave great suggestions. It began with complimentary spicy cucumber salad, miso soup, and Wasabi and a dipping sauce for our entrees. The main event arrived, and my daughter got a California roll while I enjoyed a spicy tuna roll, and we split the Tacoyaki. Everything was delicious and burst with wonderful fresh flavors. The California roll was divine. Filling your senses with tastes and aromas of the sea, in all the best ways. The spicy tuna roll was simply sublime with just enough heat to kick your tongue around, but not have you grabbing for the milk. Perfect balance. The tacoyaki was absolutely amazing. We were both sad when it was gone. The tables have buttons built into them to alert your server which I think is a pretty cool idea. Once the server presented the bill, I was completely taken aback as the prices were all cut in half from what the menu advertised. I didnt notice there were 2 prices on our menus. 1 for lunch and 1 for dinner. All that wonderful food for 20 bucks. Just wow! My only complaint, and the reason I can’t give this experience 5 stars, the music. It’s was a slightly loud club music/mumble rap Playlist which my daughter and I don’t particularly care for. Not exactly dining room type music in my opinion. Despite the music, I would go here again and again with a smile on my face and a hop in my step. If you’re ever in the area and looking for great sushi, give this place a try. You won’t be sorry.

The food was delicious and you really can’t beat the price. The appetizers and rolls are all such high quality and so tasty. Half off rolls when you dine in, and $39.99 all you can eat every day! We definitely got our money’s worth and we’re extremely happy with the sick feeling we walked away with after stuffing our faces more than we should have. The beer was cheap too!

The food was sub par at best.. the food from the kitchen was oily and greasy and cold the sushi took so long to get to us after the chefs made it. it would sit on the counter for atleast 20 mins per order.. it now makes sense why they Validate your parking pass for 3 hours.. so service wasn’t good and food wasn’t good the atmosphere was dirty, bathrooms dirty. I wouldn’t come back here unless the price went down to 20$ per person for all you can eat and they made it so not every single person at the table had to get AYCE. I shouldn’t have had to send my mother to another table just so me and my father could get AYCE.

I came here for the first time later in the night. I ordered the miso soup, baked mussels, calamari tempura, fried oysters, double crab, and Jenna roll. Everything was really good! It’s very reasonably priced as well! They even gave us complimentary shrimp tempura. I will definitely be returning.

The service is awesome. Forget the name of the long hair guy who serves us regularly but he’s always got a smile and remembers us when we come in. The sushi is fresh and the price is unbeatable. There’s not a better deal than to get there after 5pm on Fridays to enjoy a few rolls and dollar beers.

Amazing service, our servers were so nice, attentive and helpful. The bartender even came to check and make sure we liked our drinks. Sushi was delicious, very good quality fish. They even brought us mochi with whipped cream and a candle because they overheard we were celebrating a birthday. And reasonably priced. Highly recommend as the best go to sushi in San Diego!
