Really enjoyed the slices at Marley G’s in Alameda especially the “Brooklyn” (an homage to L&B Spumoni Garden?) and the Sicilian which are both made on a really soft and fluffy base with a fine crumb (think Wonderbread, but in a good way) that reminds me of how Sicilian slices in NY used to be before Prince Street and others have made everyone start making those chewier more focaccia-ish square slices (which I also love, but are quite different and more bubbly/airy).

This place has some novelty pizzas for those who are feeling adventurous! The slides they serve are in good size, it definitely filled me up. No dine in due to covid measures, but there are abundances of outdoor seating, right across the street. This place is the absolute best option to grab a quick bite in the area.

Great pizzeria. My go to spot for gourmet pizza in alameda. Absolutely love their cheesesteak Stromboli. Sad they removed the chicken pesto pizza by the slice from their menu. That was my favorite

Ordered a quick lunch, wanted to try the Stromboli (not widely available at Pizzeria’s in the Bay Area)…. Fantastic. I ordered the Cheesesteak Stromboli, not just fantastic, but it was HUGE…. Served with a nice side of tangy sauce that complimented the hearty Stromboli. Will come back for sure to fill my pizza and calzone craving.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. They were kind enough to do a half and half so we got the white pizza (delish) and the eggplant (meh). The crust and amount of toppings were great! But it’s slightly pricey.

My slice (hot peppers and banana) was quite good but my family said their slices were “just fine”. The real problem was in the operation. We ordered slices to save time and because the selection looked good. Bizarrely, they did not prioritize the slice orders, which simply need to be reheated. They had a rail of tickets ahead of ours (all phone orders as there is still no inside dining) and 4 people in the kitchen were making those pizzas first. We had to wait more than 15 minutes for our slices, which were already made! Completely non-sensical. The cashier seemed to care very little about what was going on.

The place seemed a little too quiet when we walked in but we were immediately greeted with friendly attentive service. We were hoping for great food being part of the Scholari’s family mof restaurants. Marley G’s delivered!!! The food looked lile your average offerings but the flavor and quality were way beyond that. Non and Alcholic locally made beverages and delicous desserts for the win. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great east coast pizza with some foodie flair. Real eggplant parm heroes and delicious pizza done right. Sidewalk seats for you and the pooch, or slide inside with friends and family.

Okay pizza but they close at 9 p.m. a pizza place closing at 9 p.m. you’re asking to go out of business in my opinion. Their style of New York Pizza is fairly good as far as resembling the real thing, the only difference is their choice of cheese is kinda weird, I don’t know why but the cheese stiffens/hardens up really quick. Sometimes the cheese breaks on your slice instead of having the melty quality good cheese is known for.

Pizza slices are usually tasty, but can be inconsistent. Sometimes pizza slices are a bit overcooked/charred on bottom. The next time it can be soggy/flimsy and soaking with oil to the point where you need two hands to hold it. Slightly cheaper than closest competitor.
