This is a hidden gem! I Googled something to eat, and found this place. I’m so glad we did, and Rachel was very hospitable during our lunch!! 10 ⭐️⭐️ as the food was hot and fresh to order, so we will be back and letting others know!!

It’s definitely not a shack! This place was great! It is smaller, but it can seat a large party, especially at the large bar which was a nice set up. They even have a nice small area that’s sectioned off for a small family size. We showed up later in the evening, (there was 6 of us), and we were the only ones there. As soon as we placed our orders we could hear the fish starting to fry. The food was delicious and hot! In no time we had our food. The fried catfish was perfect, not chewy and not mushy. Some places you get quality food but the quantity is small. Here at The Fish Shack you get quality and quantity, and the prices wasn’t bad. I should have taken a picture of the receipt. 6 full meals with fries drinks. Even my picky 8 year old loved it. The service was great! I highly recommend checking this local spot out.

The Fish and Shrimp here are so good &Fresh. You Must try the Boudin Egg rolls are delicious! The place is so clean and the service is great. We really enjoy this restaurant and frequently visit when we want to get out the heat and sit down to have some Freshly Fried seafood and Iced Cold Arizona Sweet Teas.

I visited this place yesterday and boy was I pleasantly surprised! Food is so fresh and so flavorful. Even my picky toddler ate the delicious catfish. The shrimp tacos were also really good. Service was also really good. Will be visiting again!

I have nothing but praises for this restaurant. Visiting New Orleans, we dined at Deanie’s Seafood Restaurant in the French Quarter; the food did taste good. However, the food is equally as good at ‘The Fish Shack-St Bernard. Along with good food was AWESOME service with a BIG smile.

We arrived around 4:30 and were the only ones there. Mostly, people were ordering takeout & picking it up at the pickup window. Masks are required. The server who took our order was very nice. I got the fried shrimp tacos with slaw & 3 hush puppies. The shrimp had a light, crispy crunch and tasted fresh. The slaw was a nice compliment. My only suggestion would be to have smaller flour tortilla shells with the same amount of filling. The shells they use leave lots of bites of just tortilla…not my fave. Hubs said his “bottom feeder” was fried perfectly…4 pieces of fish, fries & one hush puppy. He was wondering why just one? Hush puppies were darn good!
