Really cool place to grab lunch. I really wanted to try to the wings but they were out so i had the shrimp wrap. It was very fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be back next time im in Suffolk and hopefully they’ll have wings!

Had the BEST fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! And the green beans were so amazing. We didn’t have to season with more salt and pepper, everything was excellent! Service and food was beyond amazing! This place is a must!!

The food here is so good. We keep going back for the waffle fries with an assortment of seasoning. The grilled chicken wrap with chipotle mayo is a must to order. Sooooo frickin good. Oh and the lemonade is freshly squeezed. Awesome drink to compliment this excellent dish.

Our waitress was nice and attentive… Even the new woman was nice as well! Food was delicious. Will return if I’m in the Suffolk area again! This is the hot chick sandwich and the house turkey. Both were very delicious. Oh n they have seasoned waffle fries!!!

It’s been awhile My Kitties since I have done a review. I am pleased to write this review about a Hidden Jem I have come across in Downtown Suffolk called The General Public. We dined there for lunch today and the food was delicious . The waitstaff was very helpful and nice. Lunchtime on Saturdays is a bit busy, so don’t leave home without your patience. The chicken wings were awesome especially Old bay wings. Ask for extra napkins. I got the carribean bowl (unfortunately not with utensils) Had to ask for them . Healthy portions Jim had the Brunch Burger ( which was delicious as well. If your looking for a spot with great atmosphere with home grown appeal you’ll have to take a trip downtown to visit The General Public. Til Next time My Kitties .

Wow! Super clean restaurant with wonderful service (Sierra and Melinda) and FANTASTIC food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We had the Brunch Burger, Loaded Waffle Fries and I had the Club Sandwich with the FRESHEST cole slaw I’ve ever had!!! The chef is the owner, and the quality is 10/10!
