The food was sooo good! We just tried the chicken/beef tongue/steak tacos and my daughter had a cheese quesadilla but was ecstatic when it came in a unicorn holder! Will most likely be there every Taco Tuesday~ ✨

The best Mexican food I’ve had since actually being in Mexico! The fish tacos were perfectly battered and the flavor was light and delicate. I don’t know what’s in the green sauce that give you but if I could I would buy a gallon and put it on everything. The platter was a very generous portion of meat that we got two meals out of. My only disappointment is that they are not open 7 days a week.

Excellent gourmet style authentic tacos. Every time I eat here, it’s always good and friendly. I got their poblano taco and fried fish taco. Delicious. When I arrived for my pickup order, it wasn’t ready yet and they seemed to have a little backlog, so the cashier offered to give me my drink and some chips and salsa while I waited. I’m glad I ordered pickup ahead of time online, because they stopped taking walk-in orders after a certain time. Will be coming back for their $3 TacoTuesdays.

I’m so happy I’ve found a place w great tacos and it was a complete surprise stumbling upon this place!!!! We were across the street and wanted a snack so we scoped it out. Hand pressed tortillas, I got carne asada tacos w cilantro and onion and added crema to it. Then the cashier came to our table with a squeeze bottle of freshly made hot sauce?!! And THAT was the icing. It was garlicky, good heat. I put it on all my tacos. Even the beans were flavorful. I was really speechless bc I wasn’t expecting this at all. Now I have to go back more often!

I’m on the fence between 2 and 3 stars. I’m going with 3 because with the times it could be hard to find proper staffing, but I’m thoroughly disappointed with my meal from here. I ordered a 3 taco plate with 2 carnitas and 1 baha fish, 1 additional carnitas taco, 1 additional baha fish taco, and chips and salsa. Inside wasn’t very busy and it appears there were a few take out orders ahead of me, but I’m sorry, it shouldn’t take 50 minutes to fulfill the order. Tacos take a few minutes to make at most. The carnitas is already prepared, perhaps they have to fry the fish, but that should be only a couple minutes for the size of piece. The beans were luke warm and the rice is white rice. No seasoning, no nothing. That’s not Mexican rice yet their menu states Mexican rice. There was no cheese on the beans either, probably because it wouldn’t have melted since they were barely warm. Overall the food wasn’t that special. I was hopeful for something good to go in there as I liked Azteca pre-covid (during covid they lost their appeal) but I can’t see myself going back to Tight Tacos again.

Both the food and service were very good, a small restaurant in the Kaimuki area. They have daily specials and I happened to be there on taco salad day. They also have a taco Tuesday with the tacos at $3.00. Also Mexican horchata drinks and Jarrito sodas are available.
