Stopped for a late lunch. The Patio was perfect. The Potato Leek Soup, Bacon wrapped Dates, the Duck, and Elk Tostadas were all Fantastic! No too big or small, perfectly balanced flavors! A big thumbs up to the Chef! We will be back often.

STONEWALL is a must eat in steamboat. The food is presented in an elegant way while still being very affordable (nearly impossible to find in today’s economy). I recommend the lemon lavender martini the sugar rim was the yummiest I’ve had in the valley.Service was fast and the waitress kindly explained all the menus. The restaurant is very clean and all the tables are set in a cute and sophisticated manner. And the views off the dinning room and patio area are hard to beat as well.

The happy hours drink prices were not clear at all. Advertised as half off, but a party of three, the lowest priced drink is what you get half price on and nothing else. Our happy hour tab was over $80 when we thought it would be about $40.

Our family had THE best experience at Stonewall last Saturday night. The wait staff and owner were super attentive and knowledgeable about the source of the food and the wines. We tried much of the menu as a group of 5 and it was all delicious. The soups are made-from-scratch and delicious, potato leek, bison chili, and Italian wedding. The hearty entrees like steak, elk, and shrimp were perfectly cooked. I will definitely be back for one of their “small” plates and a glass of wine on a regular basis. Unique cocktails and great wine selection. The style (antique/classy) and concept (ranch-to-table) offer something new and inspiring to Steamboat restaurants.

I had a Stonewall Martini which did not taste of a martini. I ordered a shareable plate of pasta primavera which cost $32. It was enough for 1 person and contained what I believe were frozen mixed vegetables. My husband got elk meatballs which he said were good. The server did not understand the menu.
