Went for a bite to eat after a boat cruise. All the food we ordered was good. My Greek salmon salad was the BeST! My husband got ribs and he enjoyed them as well. Kids had a burger and small pizza. They loved the fries!! Waiter was fast and friendly!

This place has no right to be classified as a restaurant selliygood. The deep fried mushrooms were sliced with a mushroom slicer, then deep fried in an oily tasteless mess. The deep fried cheese curds were inedible. After reading all of the reviews, I figured we better get something deep fried because the food did not look or sound like it was appealing. In fact, even eating the deep fried isn’t a safe bet.

Probably shouldn’t be a kitchen here. Bartender barely knows how to take a phone order. Menus are out of date. Young cook could barely make two presentable sandwiches. Surely if you’ve decided to stay at the Country in and Suites you have better options for food elsewhere.

Ordered a curd burger, no bun. Says it comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and a sides of fries for $13. Ok I don’t do potatoes so just the burger, please, lettuce underneath to supplement for the bun. I was very surprised when it came out and I saw a $2 frozen burger patty on top of ONE leaf of lettuce an American Kraft single and four over-cooked cheese curds. So I asked If I could get a price break for not having fries (which I would not have done had the burger been even slightly substantial.) Nope. $13 for a four bite burger. I will not return. There are a dozen better places to eat in Prairie du Chien.

Sandwiches said they came with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion however they came plain. Burgers didn’t taste good. We also ordered a pizza and it came out 15 mins after the rest of the food and looked and tasted like it was a frozen pizza. Our waitress kept going to a table with people she obviously knew and sat down and talked with them several times. She never came over and asked if we needed refills or if we needed anything. Not even sure if she had shorts on because her shirt covered up any bottoms she may or may not have had on. Spent a lot of money and wished we had went somewhere else.

Went there for supper last night. Walked in as the waitress was walking past the door. She saw us and smiled but kept walking. There were no signs to wait to be seated. We went in found a booth and sat down. We sat there for over 15 minutes as she served others occasionally looked over at us but never came over to take our order. So we got up and left went to a different restaurant.
