Pricey food. $15 for rice and one entree, no sides, no drink. Regarding the entree, I ordered fish curry, so it has 6-7 pieces of fishes and curry. nothing else. It’s not a reasonable price for me.

We recently order food for our son’s birthday.supposed to come at 6pm, which they delivered at 8pm. Also chilli chicken and butter chicken were so sour, which we asked why. The answer surprised us, which he said sometimes it comes out good and sometimes no. (We were in that NO list). One more thing, before we order the food it says free delivery. The guy who came to deliver with food asks $150 for the delivery charge.

Thought of sharing my experience with Bay Leaf Garden – Carrollton so that you can decide whether to go there or not.For the first time; I took a carryout of chicken 65 and chicken biriyani from them today and it was the worst experience we ever had in our life.. The biriyani was cold and on top of that was having very odd rotten smell ( which you get from old stale food). We couldn’t even taste it since we could not even bring it near our mouth due to the stinking smell…Chicken 65 peices were hard to chew and we couldn’t eat that too. I hope this doesn’t affect my wife’s health since she is pregnant. Wonder what quality checks happen in these restaurants. On top of this, I called the restaurant and the person was very arrogant and rude to even admit this.

I have been wanted to taste the Kerala food for so long and then found bay leaf. They have the most of the Kerala authentic food prepared fresh. I liked all the snacks(banana fry, paripuvada, sughuiyan) over there. I ordered chicken fry, Kappa, fish curry coconut, avial, thoran, mango curry and appam was the best. They have a good amount of veg options and non veg options particularly the beef fry tasted heaven. The front desk staff were so polite and humble. The chef was very humble and talented. Their service was good. The waiting time was 15 minutes long, but it was worth the wait. All my family enjoyed the food. I will definitely visit the next time as they said they have Sunday specials.
