Found this out of the way place on Google. The building is rustic with a “spirited” hometown atmosphere. The kitchen provided an imaginative twist on bar favorites. The waitress was attentive, but the the food was slow to arrive and one in our party received their food when the others were almost done. They were super busy, but the delay was a bit disappointing. FYI…The homemade chips and horseradish dipping sauce were fantastic and worth the waiting!!

Searched Google for a pizza place that served something different from all the others. Reviewing the menu, we decided to give this place a try, and we weren’t disappointed. We started off with the fresh fried chips and horseradish dip. Perfect! Ordered a Lumberjack pizza pie. WOW…. great flavors and perfect crust. We ordered a second pizza to take home, the supreme, and it looked and smelled just as delicious. Totally recommend The Pines Tap and Table.

Delicious food, friendly and speedy service! Pool table and dart games serve as entertainment for pub goers. Beautiful fireplace and rustic ambiance in this restaurant/pub nestled in the pines of Upstate New York. Gluten free options include gluten free buns for burgers/sandwiches and various salads. This is a must visit if you are in the Malone area.

Food was on point, Natasha, our waitress was so polite and friendly. I definitely feel like it’s a locals only type of place because the place got quite when we walked in. Definitely a new experience. The food and service was great so I don’t mind coming back if they will have us.

This was my second time eating here. The first time there was nobody there but me as the weather was very bad and the service was excellent. This time however the bar was full and there was 3 or 4 tables as well. Unfortunately this caused me to sit at the bar for over 10 minutes before being served in any capacity. Fortunately was I was helped things did come out quite quickly and the food was on point as it had been before. I had the the bark burger and poutine. My burger was tasty and cooked exactly how I asked for it. The poutine was nothing special but I appreciated it as an option over just having fries.

Our favorite place to eat and have a drink when in Malone. Great setting in the woods, nice fireplace crackle, and very friendly staff. Here’s a little story to tell you what kind of folks they are at The Pines; I forgot a relatively new pair of winter gloves on the hearth there, called 30 minutes later telling them we would be back in town in a few weeks, asking if they could hold them for us. 3 1/2 weeks later we returned and the had my gloves. Just don’t think many places these days would hold them like that. Great people, great place!
