been going to joyful house since i can remember there being a buffet and upstairs portion. my experiences have always been pleasant and amazing. my family and me have known the owners and their family for almost 20 years at this point. the food is always fresh and prices have been good even through covid. my personal favorite off the menu is the soup it’s always hot and fresh. 🙂

Best Chinese food in Saline by far. I have tried a few other places in the surrounding areas and none are nearly as good. I usually get Shrimp Lo Meir or fried rice, but I’ve had many colleagues of mine try their moo shu pork and various chicken dishes and they all pleasantly enjoyed them.

Joyful House is hands down the best Chinese place in Saline. I’ve eaten at a few places around town and this one beats them all. Best of all, the food is consistent. I’ve eaten here at least a dozen times and the food is always delicious.

The food had a almost food court at a shopping mall taste. Charges 4% transaction fee. Fried rice was dry and had a cheap style flavor to it. Not going back

We have lived in Saline for over 20 years and have been ordering from Joyful House regularly for two decades. The owner is courteous and the food is delicious. We have never been disappointed in anything we’ve ordered. I am so surprised to see any negative reviews at all. We have tried the other Chinese restaurants in Saline and Ann Arbor, and Joyful House is our favorite!

Joyful has been an awesome restaurant in this community for as long as I can remember. Good food, great service, and reasonably priced. Portions are always MASSIVE (in a good way.) I will never NOT suggest Joyful House when people ask about good Chinese food. I’m convinced that any negative review is either the result of an “off day” or it was left by indivuals who are generally unhappy to begin with. There’s a reason these guys have been around for so long.

I got takeout and it was quite good. I recommend the sweet and sour chicken and the hot and sour soup. I quite like the fried rice as well.
