Great traditional diner. Extremely pleasant and helpful waitress. Old, but clean and well kept interior. All American comfort food made when you order it. The “Star Burger” (burger/ham/bacon/cheese) was a good choice, served hot and fresh with tots, a little salad before and a little chocolate cake after, a drink, and all for $10.

Great little cafe! Got the special; roast beef with mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, salad & a roll. Even included a piece of cake for dessert & all for only $8.75. Everything was delicious and tasted like good down home comfort food. Also had several pies to choose from for dessert. Waitress was polite and helpful. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through or even just as a short day trip get away from Wichita for a couple hours.

I can’t say enough about this middle of nowhere Cafe in Florence, KS. We stop here each week on our way to wichita for a piece of pie. The food is good, but the pie, oh my. So far we haven’t tried a piece we didn’t like. If u want the best selection, go on the weekends bc I believe they get pies on Friday. Try the strawberry rhubarb, pistachio or lemon suprise- u won’t be disappointed. Also I can’t forget to mention that the folks who work here good people. Yes, this place is a local hangout, but I’ve never felt like a stranger here. If u drive a big rig, there is ample parking around the Cafe.

I had bacon cheese burger with onion rings. The rings looked like they had been doubled cooked very gross. The bacon on burger was tough and the bun wasn’t toasted like some places do.
