This is a place we had never tried, despite living in the area for several years. We can now say we’ve tried it, and we won’t be going back. It’s been checked off the list. The atmosphere was very dark, even though it was still fully sunny outside. The service was okay. There were only 2 other couples in there when we ate, and 2 servers. Not sure why we were left waiting and waiting and waiting between visits from our server. The food was not worth the price, not even a little bit! It was completely underwhelming, for both my husband and myself. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Perfect atmosphere for fine Italian cuisine. Classics and originals with essential flavors that keep me coming back time and time again ; my only spot for Italian in New Albany.

Very friendly atmosphere. The owner spoke to us for awhile. Former interior designer, he has a very nice looking restaurant and he was very friendly. Food is great too. No complaints. Medium price. Wife and I had 2 entrees and a bottle of wine for around 100 dollars including a good tip. We got a free dessert because they found out it was our anniversary. The tiramisu with Canoli on it was divine. Highly recommend

My friend and I went here last night, and I found the experience disappointing. We were seated quickly and the server was nice, though he did seem to be the only member of wait staff on the floor. This meant service was slow, but we weren’t in a hurry so that was fine. However, we were never brought the fresh bread the server indicated was on the way, and none of our drinks were refilled. The prices seemed very high, but I’ve not been out for Italian in a while so I was expecting decent portions and very flavorful food for the price. I got neither as I thought the portion sizes were small, which would have been fine if I’d had the bread. Even worse still was that my meal was extremely bland. I got pasta with vegetables in a white wine garlic sauce but there seemed to be no seasoning whatsoever and I could not taste garlic. For the price getting a small, bland, mediocre meal was disappointing and I certainly won’t return.

We stopped in for an early dinner on a sunday afternoon. We sat outside and my oh my what a great meal and evening. The service, atmosphere, and most especially the food was spot on! We had the caesar salad the caprese salad, fried ravioli appetizer, and our entrees. Everything was amazing! My wife had the chicken marsala, my daughter had the alfredo, my mother in law had the lasagna bolognese and I had the chicken piccata. We finished our meal with coffee and a tiramisu for dessert!!! This is a must visit eatery!! First class in every category!!

We arrived for a 5:30 reservation. Was seated quickly. Realized immediately that it was run down, chairs looked like they were from an old bingo hall. Floor was coming up & was filthy & my menu was covered in food and sauce. A piece of bread fell out of it onto the table. Waitress came & took drink order & appetizers. Had to ask her after about 20+ minutes to take our entrees order. Took an hour and a half To receive our pasta for 5 people. Food cost is much higher than what is listed on their website and was pretty bland. Garlic knots were yummy. Definitely not worth the price. I feel like all

Great find authentic Italian cooking like it came out of Mama’s kitchen.

If you’re looking for great Italian food this is your place. Everything was wonderful, the atmosphere, the staff, oh yes and the food! Authentic Italian food that can’t be beat at other area restaurants. The restaurant isn’t too big and has that nice cozy feeling you’d expect from a great restaurant. I highly recommend the vodka sauce when ordering pasta as it’s absolutely incredible. To top off dinner the tiramisu for dessert will melt in your mouth!

For the prices ($20 a plate) the dinner portions were super small. Felt like lunch portions. The lobster ravioli had very little stuffing. The marinara is decent but watery. The calamari was delicious. For the price and quality probably wouldn’t return. Same level of food quality as Carrabas or even Olive Garden. At least our server, the older italian man, was very nice.
