Wow. Sad to see that this location is going out of business. I was just forced to pretend to enjoy a $10 medium “New York Steamer” sandwich in front of my family at home. I would estimate that corned beef and pastrami are running around $30 a pound due to the fact that I had two total ounces of meat on my sandwich. That would put their cost of the meat at $3.75, the bread at around $.25 and a solid $.75 for the cheese leaving ample room for a profit on the sandwich. If anything don’t make the mistake my wife did and order online for a pickup.

Overall, our food was good and prepared well. However, three of the four sandwiches had toppings missing. My sandwich had almost no cheese (if any at all), and I requested lettuce and black olives for two other sandwiches, neither of which was on either sandwich. The service was good and food was prepared in a timely manner. I was just disappointed about the missing toppings. I did not check the food before leaving with my to go order. I will remember to check next time! We love Firehouse though!

So I wasn’t super impressed with the food. There was nothing wrong but I felt there was more bread than actual meat. But let me tell you the staff is awesome, quick to prepare our food, super friendly and they have my little girl a firefighter hat! That made her day!

Came in last minute at 855p (food service workers nightmare) and ordered sandwiches. Staff were extremely professional, kind, and patient. I felt so bad, but they treated me as if it was lunch rush and I was no inconvenience whatsoever. That’s a win in my book. I’ll definitely be back. Your evening shift staff on 5/18/2022 were fantastic!
